Think I recall fans saying they didn't want him which I found strange because he's a level or 2 up on Almiron and Murphy

    Really like the player personally.

It's ok we don't need him as Almiron, Murphy, Longstaff, Lascelles and Ritchie are going to win the champions league for us

Wasn't that I didn't want him, but for the money they were talking, I'd have rather have had someone else - think at the time my particular erection was for Diaby.

I think we'll see things crank up quite significantly in a couple of years time.

Of course, we're being super careful so only spending what we've actually taken in. Last Summer's issue of wage/turnover ratio being quite high will be relatively insignificant next Summer, because the Adidas cash, Saudia cash, Noon cash, CL revenue and the countless other commercial deals will be on the balance sheet so the turnover will have gone from £180m in 21/22, £265m in 22/23 to around £350m+ (possibly a lot more) in 23/24. In 2022, I believe the salaries were £170m and probably haven't significantly increased due to trading, maybe up another £10m? Keep me honest, you lot.

So for UEFA, salaries could be as high as £245m or more on a £350m turnover. PL is more lenient as it takes amortisation into account (as per Chelsea). So whilst we've spent, we've not spent anything like what we're about to. I'd imagine another 6 players at least plus youth across 2024.

Dire need of a CF in January. The two we’ve got are totally unreliable where fitness is concerned.

Superb player but how's he now got over his homesickness?!

That English fella over in Spain seems to be doing really well. Blueforest? Redcopse? Summat like that.

Can’t see anything about him being homesick?
Don’t think we’ll be interested in the other one? Too much baggage.
