But Joffy was no addition and we didn't have to compete with the top lot. Not pl standard and wont ever be. This lad had the potential to be the quality of no 10 well be crying out for if were promoted. Under current system we can't progress any more than most other clubs. There should be a cap on the number of youngsters allowed at any club. I was referring to Wigan and their financial state. As for Gelhardt. We've kinda killed his career up to date. Dunno whether he will ever regain the confidence levels he had when he first arrived. He needs to leave us as soon as possible for his sake.
He showed signs of real promise but we don't play him in the 21's and we don't play him in the first team. He's a professional substitute, a bit like Jamie Shackleton. If he'd been exposed to 50-60 games open age lower level whilst he was showing confidence you never know.
Maybe but he has a dreadful injury record, niggly ones for amount of game time. Think he's most highly rated on this forum
