Well, a chance to show we are a bit better than our showing in the home match suggested. As a non league fan, I'm happy enough that Cray have opted to play this at their ground, as I always wanted Dartford to do that in the cup (we played Millwall at the Den back in the eighties, and after we'd lost one of the directors told me that had we drawn, the replay would have been back at the Den as we couln't play Millwall at Watling Street) as you imagine that taking a bigger team out of their famcy surroundings might unnerve them. My personal guess is that like that cup tie against Maidstone back in the eighties, Cray may have missed their chance to shock us and we will raise our game enough to go through. Buuut it's the cup so anything is possible. At leats let's put a decent team out - if Kirk can't get past a tier 8 defender, he shouldn't be on the pitch in a Charlton shirt- Prediction: Cray 1 Charlton 3
Unfortunately I have a prior date with a Curry and Quiz, so can't watch it. He must put out strong tea, which includes CBT. Prediction 1-2, as with Maidstone.
Curry and quiz sounds a much better option- again I know bloody Millwall supporters that are going just to see us slip up ffs!
Our away form is very poor this season. One win from seven (I think) games in all competitions. And naturally there will be a feisty atmosphere there tonight. I'm not sure our players will be up for it.
I hope I never see him in a Charlton shirt again , gave him settling in time - he just doesn’t seem interested or bothered - fuke him back tup north where he belongs
Nope - with Smudger on this. I don't want to see him play for us again. I'll wish him well for the future, but enough of this.
Just made myself a nice cup of Yorkshire tea to calm my nerves - once we bag a couple of goals I may crack a beer open
How did the ref give a penalty. It looked well outside the box even without a replay. Though would have been a red of course.
Now we've spoiled the magic of the Cup Still, huge credit to Cray Valley. Done themselves proud and earned some vital cash
