I agree mate, policy detail on this is going be interesting. I was amazed to see a recent poll show 42% in favour of Rawanda scheme and 39% against. Considering all the media coverage I would have though the outcome would have been very different. A small insight into the broader opinion perhaps.
I think people are sick to death of hearing about illegal immigrants and would vote for a mass grave tbh. The amounts coming here are unsustainable and little is being done. People are struggling, the NHS waiting lists are a joke, you can't get a dentist and now they're watering down our beer
I'd like to see some receipts for his claims. Some good work in prospect on removing the constant cycle of opposition using the courts to dictate government policy mind. It's just become a stalling mechanism.

Sunak calling international court’s foreign court's stinks tbh. If Putin fails to follow international law and meddle with democracy he is rightly classified as an outlaw, tyrant. I wonder how many Labour front benchers will defy Sir Keir tonight, and will he sack them for doing so. So far it looks like 3 are going to. I never really understand why parties invoke a 3 line whip. I get the need for unity and a consistent front. But MPs represent local constituencies in reality and they need to be allowed to represent their communities best I would think. Just more of our political system that seems beyond my ability to make sense of.

Plan A hasn't worked and clearly neither will Plan B, it's all a farce as you say. This government criticised Rwanda for human rights, police killings, torture etc ... ... then, almost immediately, gave them millions to accept migrants. That was clearly, as proved today, totally illegal. I want the boats to stop, this isn't the way to do it. Britain's integrity and credibility is being destroyed by these lunatics.

The government looks a disunited shambles which isn't good for the country ... ... unity is great but MPs in 'Muslim areas' obviously have a massive conflict of interest. It's a tricky one for sure. On another point, this world is making zero progress, things just get worse. Growing up in an impoverished pit village was no hayride but I truly feel sorry for kids having to negotiate childhood now. The pressures of social media, bullying, sexuality, etc, must be crushing at a time that's supposed to be the best years of your life. We were so naive and daft as kids despite jumble sale clothes, middens and four kids in one bedroom with overcoats for blankets. We've made life so complicated for our kids and there's no way out.
Couldnt agree more. The kids today have nothing like the fun or freedom we had. Sad times for them. One of mine is Derby daft and loves the away games. I pay for every away trip for him, he couldnt afford it on his own, but I want him to have the adventure and the memories. I want them to get out and experience the world, but too much of it is vanilla these days. Mind you, I probablt wouldnt want him experiencing some of the away days I had, not all but some. He comes back late on a Saturday night, pissed and happy, but stinking of beer. Apparently they throw it about on the concourse! My money as well. Still it is a little bit of life I can pay for for him.
