This is part of TransPennine’s stabilisation initiative.

It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if the toilets explode, the benches collapse, the lights electrocute everyone and the tree infests the station with death watch beetle.

Fred Karno’s circus has nothing on these clowns.

Wouldn’t it be the Pennines that were trans not the trains?

Not sure how a geological feature will feel about that. Maybe you go up a him and come down a mountain?

It's rather ironic it passes through Manchester...which is named after boobies. <laugh>

According to the Council’s portal, the application to build the Five Guys restaurant on Kingswood near Hollywood Bowl was approved on Friday.

HDM first posted the story back in June about the application being submitted.

Was just about to come on here and post this. To be fair it looks a better proposition than what Hammonds was offering. Looking back on it, as much as it would have been great for it to be a success, it was an outdated offering.

Was it? I think it had various problems but I'm not sure about that one specifically. That kind of thing is quite successful in a lot of places isn't it? Trinity Market is an example within Hull even, of a similar sort of offering which does well.
