To be honest, old boy, when I first heard the news my reaction was along the lines of 'What's the point???' and 'Why on earth would the former PM want to do that???' And to be perfectly frank its hardly going to be long term given that we will see the dissolution of Parliament within the next 9-12 months. Still I hear that given the new incumbent, at the FCO, there have been a flurry of bets regarding World Peace being achieved by the end of the month. Maybe, forum members will be considering an each-way wager on this one... Still at least one thing has changed re this new 'arrangement'. The forum has got a new favourite Lord!!!
