Shocking decision that penalty like. Really like Chelsea mind think they’ll be a force if they stick with Poch. Fancied them to be a bit closer to City this season but wasn’t expecting Nkunku and Fofana to be injured so early on. Once Nkunku is back I expect them to take it a notch he’ll give them what they’re missing in the final third
VAR is like a school prefect on a power trip desperate to rule a goal out for ****ing anything, get it gone
Handball check as it may have brushed his elbow as he slid into the net and the ball caught him up. Rightly given as a goal, but Jesus why was it even looked at
Something needs to seriously change with it. Go to 2 VAR reviews per game on the captains call similar to cricket maybe? Whenever there is a VAR check, I'd love to see the fans turn their backs to the pitch as a bit of a protest as well.
Mind you, I'm not sure how many captains of PL teams would know the rules and what to ask to be checked tbh.
The rules of the game need an overhaul. I get that VAR is a ****show but it’s more than that. Players rolling around from the slightest of contact should be booked. Just because to slightly catch someone when you take the ball doesn’t mean it’s a foul. Blasting the ball at someones hand from a few yards away when they’re closing you down or jumping isn’t handball. You can’t jump with your hands by your side we aren’t f*cking penguins. Offsides that take 5 minutes to draw the lines and try to figure out if the attacking player is an inch off shouldn’t be offside. Whole thing is a shambles.

Would be class if we could have another bench with a spare set of officials and if both managers agree we can just swap the ref and linos.
Been a good game this, Chelsea have matched City all over the park. Still don’t think that was a penalty mind. These 2 will be battling for the title next season imo. I see City, Liverpool and Chelsea as a cut above the others regardless of the off seasons. I just can’t see Arsenal or Spurs winning something significant before Chelsea.
