Didn't we have an injury crisis under Robson. At one point he even said he thought the club was jinxed.
I don't think they're jinxed that would be hocus pocus so I suspect it's number of games, intensity and just luck.
Yes it was towards the end of the 2003/04 season i think, i remember we played Marseille in the uefa cup semi final and hardly had any defenders, managed a 0-0 first leg but lost 2-0 over there.
It seems to me that 'some fans' are in danger of hounding out Eddie in just the same way they blamed 'the fans' for doing so with Sir Bobby. Ironic really.
Nobody is after howe they're just identifying potential reasons for the injuries and it's only really a knowledge of the basics required to see there's some evidence of those concerns.
Just a step to far that game before the international break. Not sure why he changed it to Joelinton up top instead of Gordon. Personally would have left it and tried to counter attack with Gordons speed. All in all a deserved defeat but with 12-13 first team players out, most teams would be struggling atm. Hopefully have a few back after the international break and then it's only 6 weeks until the January window opens after that. Just got to struggle through until we have a few bodies back although Isak, Wilson, Barnes, Botman are all on the way back.
Possibly but could have gone 2 up top (little and large). Just thought we didn't have a threat in behind this weekend, was to simple for Bournemouth to get 10 players behind the ball
