I don’t think it did. And you’ve got good eyesight to be so sure based on that video. but I’d agree on the “lucky” as we’ve seen these given, it all depends on what the ref sees in a flash of a second
I saw the replay on the stream yesterday from a couple of different angles and it looked like Ampadu kicked his foot on to the ball. As you rightly say,those are given regularly. I remember one going against us at Stamford bridge a couple of years ago.
Looked a penalty to me also. However can understand why the ref didnt give it, as from where he was positioned and given the direction of the ball, it was easy to presume that Ampadu had got a touch
The biggest take is why Bamford wasn't loaned out, and definitely should be over the xmas break, he was ****e when he came on, waste of a shirt rather give a youngun a break
Hopefully the bloody international break doesn’t mess with our momentum and none of the players get injured. Got away with the penalty, about time we got a bit of luck, the camera angle behind the goal line clearly shows Ampadu doesn’t touch the ball.
Roger he will still be on forty grand a, week or more. We would have to pay most of that if we loaned him out. Then factor in the cost of a loanee coming in it's crazy. Orta has stitched us up big time.
