I thought you didn't trust the media? By and large yesterday, everything went as I predicted it would, peacefully. The Cenotaph yesterday and today went ahead smoothly. Yes you had some right-wing thugs, but they were maintained and arrested, away from the actual events. The Palestinian protest went ahead completely peacefully, as they said it would. Yes like the right-wing thugs, some arrests, but that's to be expected in a crowd of 300,000 people. To put it in perspective, how many people were arrested at Wembley in one game during the Euros, where there were only one third of the number. So yes it did age well, unless you want to delve yourself into the British Media, who love to show a good ole fashioned punch up with the old bill. But I know you are a free thinker Abe, and wouldn't allow yourself to get drawn into such nonsense. Now there are of course a few protestors who may be picked up at a later date, but everything in good time, let's close events today before getting the storm troopers out and let's not see what there wasn't, large scale disorder. And as a pro israel, I respect the Palestinian prrotesters for that, more than I do some right-wing thugs that turned up for a jolly with the Met police.
I’d have a lot more sympathy if they supported their team by sticking a red, white and green flare up their arse like the patriotic Ingerland fan that day. Most of these slags don’t have a clue what they’re walking around and painting their kids’ faces for. It’s a fun family day out.
I read his post as meaning that the anti war/peace/pro Palestinian demonstration would not cause trouble at the Cenotaph so I think it aged OK. Amazing how ****ing ******ed the far right/ ex BNP/ EDL are to turn up "to protect the Cenotaph and be the only ones causing aggro.

Anyone who couldn't bring themselves to condemn the atrocities of Oct 7th and only chose to wake up and speak after the inevitable response started, is part of the problem and not at all committed to peace. Braverman sacked - I had heard last night she was gone, but couldn't be arsed to post. Cleverly appointed as new home secretary, probably the best of the bunch and certainly better than the previous two, three or four lol. I'll assume this cabinet will be his election one, or I at least fooking hope so, getting bored and tired of it now.
