Final whistle. 2-2 draw. End to end stuff ! The visitors got a 'bit dirty' towards the end, with three players booked in the last three minutes !

Our 27 match unbeaten run in the league continues.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Ay least we didn't lose. I feel.this fixture has been on the players' minds for quite a while, hence the poor performance at Chesterfield.

We have just had an internacional break and now we have another oñe? I for oñe would be happy to bin internacional.tournaments as it disrupts the continuity of the season, gives players very little time to.recover and is basically a money winning devoce to.fill the pockets of EUFA and FIFA official

While international breaks make Saturdays far less exciting, imo international football is the best football and is the only form of football that isn't a joke. Teams can't just buy their way to success and success or failure is (to some extent, but certainly much more so than domestic football) based on things like tactics and how well a club is managed. It's like football as it should be. Heck, it's not filled with shirts covered in betting, crypto and forex for one thing.

I do feel.the tournaments are far too bloated with too many naff games. And who the hell am I supposed to.support as all the teams play boring football? I hope Kazachstan qualify.so I can support them
    in the euros!!

Daylight saving time changes in both countries now mean that UK 3pm kickoffs start at 2am Downunder so I now watch the replays on ifollow. The Pompey/ifollow website makes it impossible to do this without first knowing the result which makes it less exciting.
Having said that this was a great game to watch. End to end football with very little parking the bus from Charlton.
Pompey played some very good football and created chances. In some recent games they have created few chances considering the weight of possession they have enjoyed. so in a sense this was an improvement despite dropping. two points.
Nothing about this game makes me less optimistic.!
