An American friend here went on a Carnivore diet and in 8 weeks has lost 18 kilo, he was 127 kilo. The other interesting thing is he suffered from a form of psoriasis for a long time, and it has completely cleared up. His wife says he has stopped snoring, and he had ankle pain which has also gone, though that could be because he in lighter. I had never heard of it until he mentioned it, but seems to be working for him.
Is it a bit like Atkins diet? Or https://www.everydayhealth.com/diet-nutrition/diet/carnivore-diet-benefits-risks-food-list-more/
It looked like an abomination If I ever stayed eating meat again I’d be straight down to Kashmir for a proper one
What kind of idiot says can you make it a little hotter than normal…lips numb…snot flowing….sweat present. When will I ever learn. Love it… bog roll going in fridge
I also have that affliction. Put two scotch bonnets in my stir fry yesterday. And a massive homegrown apache.
That’s food all prepped….home cooked asian chilli beef in a sweet chilli sauce to be served with a nasi goreng Oui chef!
I cheated and used a Mae Ploy Tom yum paste from an Asian supermarket Into that I added half a pork loin join that was left over, a can of coconut milk, 600ml water, and all the veg we had left in the house that was red peppers, spinach, plum tomatoes, sweet potatoes and potatoes. Which is hardly traditional Thai fare but still worked well. It’s the soup/paste that makes it what is is anyway, those Mae Ploy pastes are about as good as it gets for Thai curries and soups if you have anywhere local that stocks them. They’re really quite authentic and make home cooking a restaurant quality Thai meal possible and easy.
Not about cooking but food related. Anyone tried these Yorkshire Handmade Pies? They look good but what do they taste like? Any gravy in them? https://www.yorkshirehandmadepies.co.uk/
