When you consider the injuries and suspensions Newcastle have done well since the last international break. I've noticed people wanting to defend players while as the same time complaining about players being out..... I'm sorry but there's still an underbelly of players that need replacing at the earliest opportunity.

Wilson isn't the quite the **** im referring to it would cost huge money, but getting better players than longstaff lascelles and Ritchie really wouldn't be expensive or difficult. They're quite simply nowhere near good enough and never will be, but we still have to use them regularly.
Lascelles and Ritchie? No, really easy. In fact, we replace Almiron who is almost never injured and we can just let Ritchie retire, replace him with a youth academy lad. I think we do need a first 11 CB because Schar, I'm telling you now, has a year or so left in him. His knees are just waiting to go. Hall and Tino will one day be good enough, in fact, Tino already IS good enough. Longstaff was meant to be replaced by Tonali that worked out great
I think we'll kick on again next season tbh, but I had a feeling this season we'd fall back because it was almost inevitable. I mean look at the players we're discussing here... lol they're ****.
