Obviously different sides of the pitch but I've watched Hall a few times for the mags recently and he's not better than Hume. I'll die on that hill. He's a young lad that's been forced into a team that are flying but he looks out of place. I think if you put Hume into a much better team than ours he wouldn't look out of place. Same with Clarke. But I also think Pembele will be a better RB than him, which is madness.
Shows how bad the standard is in this Country imo. Yes it's a hard job being a ref, but they don't help themselves and neither do the people making up these buzz phrases like 'clear and obvious' etc. I don't think players, managers, fans and officials actually know the rules from week to week tbh.

Pemeble won't get a sniff till he can prove his fitness mate. Really overcoming a worrying injury. I think I said a month ago he won't get a kick till Xmas. Stand by that. Different players too. Hume is a managers dream. Play anywhere and just rock solid. Understanding tactics too.
Hume reminds me of Wan Bissaka at Palace. A bit wary of going forward and I don't think that'll ever be one of his strengths but he just never looks like losing a defensive duel. I'd be interested to see Clarke and Hume have it out like that would be a great battle. If we're to stick with Hume then Roberts needs to go.
