Our best few chances have come from long balls so far. Delap deals with them really well. Philogene looking frustrated at not being picked by Allsop when making runs time and again. Twine probably the best performer of ours in that first half but Morton close behind. Seri playing well too. I don't think slow play will break through their defence, but the direct game we might get something.

Not brave enough. Safe pass from midfield every time while the forwards are making the runs and not getting the ball.

I said it in Summer and I’ll say it again, we need a creative attacking midfielder, one who can pass through the lines and can take on a shot.

Again, well on top but not able to press it home.

    Frustrating.

Hopefully things open up a bit more as they tire.

Agreed, we just seem to be focused on not losing though, instead of winning.

We can win this if we want to.

We have those, seri, Morton and Traore all look to do that whenever possible.

I actually think it’s been a good half and we’re not doing much wrong, they are just camping out in their box and not getting drawn out at all, it’s difficult to do a lot against that.

We're too pedestrian. Philogene is trying to play at walking pace. Tufan is dropping too deep. Delap is running into trouble when he gets the ball. Although we've had total dominance in possession they're happy to let us play around 20 yards out and we are not really getting anywhere.

Connolly might give us a bit more urgency and a bit of a snarl factor, with his niggly attitude.

Decent half, it's as if they are down to 10 men. Lokilo a big miss in a game like this, could really do with being a bit more dangerous on the right stretching the play a bit more as so far they are pretty comfortable with Coyle. I'd like to see Jadon use the overlap from time to time, will be a big help for him cutting inside as the game progresses.

Maybe it would be easier to go for the second goal first?

I’m not seeing the game today but if we don’t score/win this while the other teams around us are easily scoring goals, it doesn’t bode well for my playoff hopes. I can’t imagine Delap and others will be here for another season - but maybe I’m wrong!

Games like this show the massive flaws in how he wants us to play.

Completely agree. How many times has a City player made a run through the middle and been completely blanked?

The second they lose possession they go to 2 banks of 5 & 4. We need to play it quicker to counter this. Doing what we seem adamant on doing just gives them time to set up and then it's same old same old. The stats are all in our favour but truth be told that was an easy 45 for them and exactly what I expected from them. We need to move the ball quicker and be braver
