It’s how we control possession though that’s just our style but at times it highlights our need for a proper DM. Ekwah gets caught on the ball far too much

Don't be daft. That wasn't a yellow in fairness, but persistent fouling surely.

No words to eat, he’s made countless errors leading to goals this season.

We’ve conceded one goal which came from Ekwah losing the ball and Neil didn’t track his man so not sure how that makes O’nien look good? Poor from the CB mind he obviously didn’t see Stansfield when he tried to lay the interception off.

Thought that was a bit poor overall. Started brightly enough but we never really had control in my opinion. I know it is 45 mins but Triantis is scaring the life out of me. Ekwah needs to quicken himself up a bit. Time for Mowbray to earn his pennies at half time.

Started well but been poor for last 20/25 mins. Understandably back 4 is all over the place, huggins has been very good tho. Midfield has been poor imo, need to look after the ball better and play quicker passes - they all keep wanting extra touches. Clarke not had a lot of the ball, need to get him quicker ball. Roberts done some good things but still never feel hes actually going to score or create. Rusyn been good, loving some of his runs when the ball is in the final 3rd. He needs to show for feet a bit better to give us an option to play straight through to him

Hoping for a big 2nd half, feel we need to score at least more 2 to win this

Pretty wild half of football. Ekwah needs to wake up because he's doing more harm than good. I'll let the CBs off because mistakes are inevitable in this situation, we should persist with playing it out from the back because they need to get used to it. They look like decent enough passers.

Rusyn looks like the real deal.

I hate that Phillips is the go to Sunderland pundit.

ONien retiring will at least mean it’s him instead eventually :D

The decision making of our coaching staff and players continues to astound me. We score and then hit the post from our first corners but then every set piece after that we've taken short or overhit? Continuing to pass to Ekwah while playing out because we have no width so he's being pressed by 4 players and continues to lose the ball. Having no real plan on how to break the Birmingham press. Rusyn looked sharp and we were looking for him in the opening 20 but since then it's back to the same old ****e of not passing to the forward. Ref is **** to top it off.

They have smelt blood with our back 4. Hopefully we come out 2nd half and dominate possession so they don't get much going towards our back 4.
