We are lining up as expected. Experienced team, but the lack of pace in defence is a massive concern!
It’s why you need a quality squad. Only signing one centre back in the summer was always going to be risky
I’m hoping the youngsters on the bench will get to play today before the run of tough games after the international break. A bug bear of Conte was that he had no plan B. Does Ange need one?
Risky? I'd go with silly or stupid. We were never going to make it to January without having to use a third centre-back. That's despite van de Ven making a brilliant start to his career at Spurs. We've been a little unfortunate with injuries and suspensions. Most of them haven't been at the back though and we know what Romero's like. Fantastic player most of the time, but his discipline is sorely lacking.
Nothing too crazy there. Assume bentanccur still not fit enough to start. Gone for experience as all about just getting a win today to keep the vultures away then see how things look after the international break.
I don’t think Ange has any other way to play. He didn’t at Celtic and by the sounds of it he won’t compromise at Spurs either.
If by some miracle we don't lose without out 3 first choice defenders, 2 reserve defenders, our first choice play maker and our most expensive winner, You are gonna feel very silly young man
The latest hypothesis is that lengthy VAR stoppages are causing a higher number of injuries. Besides, these current injuries have been with playing one game a week.
We all know the start of the week Spurs gave us.. So, this week in work I have been kicked, called a bald ****, told to "suck yer dead mum" and had a kid throw the mother of all tantrums cos, when I explained about children being evacuated from cities during WW2, he thought I was was gonna put him on a train to live with strangers in Kent! Mrs RCL has been told she needs urgent tests on Tuesday...Monday is the anniversary of my sons death and to prepare we are currently on our way to collect my youngest from Bournemouth which involved a stop at a service station filled with rugby fans and assorted tosspots who don't know how to say please and thank you. And now we are about to play a high line defence with 1 headless chicken who can't defend, one pensioner and a bloke who turns like an oil tanker. Roll on Armageddon
That's not the most ridiculous claim tbh. Waiting around for 3-5 minutes cooling off, is bound to have an effect on muscles.
I was just thinking that the last time I went to molineux the main stand had a jagged roof which was instantly recognisable, it was the 1st game of the season and we won 3-0 and we got bushwacked in an under pass on the way back to the station
