MON ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Give it a rest man Bart
interesting because on all your posts you seem to be showing your compleate faith in him also what is it with the Bart its really annoying i no offence
No I do not and never have had total faith in SB - But the BoBs are just too extreme IMO with the majority talking absolute PISH, again IMO. Even if Bruce won the next 3 games (very possible) the BoBs would still be moaning for no good reason. Their efforts should be spent getting 100% behind the lads on the pitch - they are trying their hardest for OUR club. Bruce's future is dependent on results, and if he doesn't turn it round very soon, he will be off - ES is not thick, unlike most of the BoBs Bart
For me it depends on a lot of factors. If he plays 1 up front, Wigan hammer us in shots, and they win, then i cant see him being able to stay. If we play 2 up front, we have a right go, we bombared your goal with shots, and you hit us on the break and win 1-0 (like Blackpool last year) then i think he shouldnt go. If he goes out for a draw, and gets a sneaky win, then not sack him but it will give the BOBs more amunition against him. Even i admit its getting harder and harder to stick up for him, If Short sacks him i wont cry over it, but there is sod all I can do about it anyway, so why get all angry and upset, it will just send you to an early grave. But i do think he has the know how to get us out of this, we just need to score some goals.
so if he draw and just loses games but is playing one man up frount and his tactics are wrong (like they have been at some stages) whould you keep him and for how long
Anyone reading this forum knows I have always said its time to see where we are after the Blackburn game - I have said this since we lost to the filth!!! So IMO if we lose 2 of the next 3 games - IMO he will have to go. Infact i would say if he does not win the 2 home games his reign at the SOL will be over IMO like. BUT I think we are more than capable even on yesterdays performance to do very well in these 3 games, and if he gets 7or9 points, the BoBs surely need to give it a rest, coz they are getting right on my t i t s. Bart
Well 1 man up front can and does work for teams, but you need your midfield to bust a gut and get up with them, hence why gardner should be playing after his 1 season wonder last season, if he isnt on the pitch he will never score. Its all little things, Bentdner will never score if he goes out on the wing, or sess doesnt pass to him, or elmo cant get a decent cross in all game, if our CM are protecting the defence we wont loose goals but we wont score either. Everyone was clamouring for Noble after a hat trick during the week, he was playing the Newcastle under 18 team, and has been out for months, yes give him more than 2 minutes, but you cant really start him, Whickam is injured, Ji not sure whats happening with him, Campbell is injured, so some time you just have to grin and bare the 1 up front and get on with it, but the midfield need to get up and support that 1 striker.
Terribly sorry there for having a different point of view to you Bart but why the **** should I just accept the last 11 months of ****e. Tell me, what did you make of the game yesterday from your seat at the stadium? You do go to games of course don't you?
Cest - please don't challenge my love of everything SAFC. I live in Scotland so cannot afford to get down for every game, though when I lived in Consett and Cramlington I was a season ticket holder. FFS even when I came to Scotland I remained a season ticket holder, but the 19 & 16 point seasons put an end to that. I get down to between 5 & 10 games a season and watch all the rest on TV or On Line. I watched yesterdays game on line, and IMO it was a very good well contested game between 2 good well matched teams. It would not have been my team selection but SB will always be a better football manager than me - and the substitutions would not have been my choice either - but having said all that I genuinely thought it was a canny match, and the crowd were excellent (for a change) except for the boos at the end which I thought were unfair coz the team gave their all. That good enough for you. Bart
