It will definitely get blocked. The cartel are out to do what they can to keep us down. He would be a good solution tbf
As it should do. There is a ban on dual club ownership in Europe/UEFA. They can’t extend that to other confederations so have to enforce no loans and review of all transfers between teams with same owners. PIF are completely off the normal football club owner model so rules have to be in place to maintain the league integrity (or what’s left of it). Even if clubs don’t vote for it now the new independent regulator would require it as his remit will include maintaining the integrity and competitiveness of the league. I hope that we also push for it to include so call Euro feeder clubs. All loans of young players should go to English clubs to help them.
They should put a cap on how many players you can loan out and in. That would fix the loan doping bastards. As for loaning Neves from PIF to be honest I think it should be banned. We need to keep it clean. I am more concerned about the commercial deals and why or how the PL can block them. Trading commercially is legal between same owned entities and there is nothing the PL can do to stop that. It would be illegal if they did. As long as it’s at arms length.
They don't want Newcastle to be successful in their aims and since the takeover they've invented new sponsorship rules and now this. I would imagine Newcastle are getting very pissed off as their business plan is being stopped.
I can understand why they wanted to stop our takeover. They just couldn’t. The new rules to stop us is frustrating. But again I can understand some of it. However what they can’t do is restrict our commercial deals. That would be illegal. Hence we grow slowly. This season is a big test. Todays game with the injuries will prove how good a manager Eddie really is.
The so called big 6vhave been building things to suit them for decades and the minnows are in the same boat trying to stop Newcastle also because it makes their job harder.. they're not attempting to do anything to compete. Unfortunately Newcastle are everyone's problem. It's the old fighing for crumbs because it's harder to fight the ones who make guns issue.
I think owners should be allowed to put as much as they want in as long as it’s not a loan. What difference does it make where the money comes from. Man United get far more than us in sponsorship. Why should money that an owner wants to put in be treated any differently.
This would unfortunately defeat the entire reason behind the obstacle. They can name something sinister whatever they like we know what it's for.
Because it is unfair for competitors. I understand what you’re saying. But you have to have limitations to make it balanced and fair. They have their sponsorships based on fan base and successful operations. I think we can get to similar levels of trading over time.
If you wanted to make it balanced and fair you would have a wage cap or central sponsorship deals that are equally divided between the teams.
That wouldn’t work. I don’t see any problems with a club organically increasing its own value wealth and profits. Which can be reinvested into the team. Clubs have fan based and appeal based on what they do. So organically they can grow. That’s just good business. How they choose to spend that money and **** it up (Chelsea and Manu) is up to them.
The likes of Trippier, Bruno, Joelinton, Schar etc are going to be tired all season as they go on international duty aswell.
We are possibly at the nadir of injuries now, and at least have a few weeks break. The fact they're publicly saying signings will be made in Jan is a good sign though. Have faith.
Faith is the excuse people use for believing in something they don't have sufficient evidence to support a claim.
