Asking for my nephews who are heading to the match tomorrow- where is a safe pub for away supporters? They won’t be in colours but their accents are a bit obvious. Alroight my babby?
The Crown and Sceptre is a QPR pub but always has away fans in colours, no problem. The official away pub is Belushi’s I think, never been there. Westwood Sports Bar in Westfield is open to both sets of fans. If away fans in the C&S start singing they get kicked out. Saw this after the Leicester game, when a small drunk group started acting up and were immediately peacefully ejected. My Fox mates thought it was very poor form to sing as they were receiving hospitality in what is very clearly a QPR pub, and agreed with the ejection. About ten minutes later a few middle aged QPR fans turned up because they had heard ‘it was kicking off’. Morons.
Nice to have a young team at the helm. Must have a deal with footwear company (good to see Marti has hooped socks on, nice touch )
It looks like Taylor Richards might play Chair's role tomorrow ... QPR boss Cifuentes backs Richards - West London Sport
Like it - we know he can dribble and pass, now he needs to defend and work for the team. Clear targets, publicly shared.
Pre match interview. Relaxed and intelligent. Analysed not only Bristol City but also Liam Mannings last games with Oxford. And only 7 minutes! Good, he’s got work to do…..
Don’t know about a question ski, more of a statement of intent. A strong performance and players playing would be great, win would be awesome. Plenty of teams above us will drop points so we need to start catching up pronto. Good luck Marti and the boys.
Marti comes across as incredibly impressive. My concern is that he simply has no time to start picking up wins. We're already almost at the point of no return and must get wins, lots of them. I'm already preparing myself for league 1 next season, whilst hoping against hope that we can turn things around. Games like today's really are a "must win".
Agree we need to prepare for league 1 because that is where we are currently heading. That said, one win and it'll look a lot more hopeful, two wins and we could be out the relegation zone. We know these players are good enough, and set up in the right way they can play good, attacking football. Martí needs to work out how to get them clicking again, and quickly, but I've not given up hope yet.
