oh dear oh dear oh dear..... PEPSI CO still has major concern in Russia and duly pays its taxes to the Kremlin who, as a reward duly destroys a , THE PEPSI CO factory in Ukraine ,,, an own goal if ever their was one!
Ukraine being a bit on the same track .. wants to sue Poland for not allowing grain to be shipped through! .. a serious re think needed here Kiev [VZ]
dotted throughout the past few weeks a number of "behind the lines attacks" have the Ruskies lying through their teeth, shot everything down, no damage, Ukraine has a resistance force in Crimea, & Russia [ including the the 2 or 3 anti KREMLIN groups ].

    PERSPECTIVE AND THE WIDER PICTURE......
nearly always 7 out of 8? mid term elections are against the ruling party

EUPHORIA FOR LABOUR disapointment for tories and lib dems

Here are the full results for Mid Bedfordshire: and think wide picture total votes for top two were about the same as the majority last time [ talking just a few hundred votes!!!

    Labour: 13,872
    Conservatives: 12,680
    Liberal Democrats: 9,420

For Tamworth a similar picture about 3000 more than the last majority of votes. so personally I would say next election it could be close [r] for both these seats

    Labour: 11,719
    Conservatives: 10,403
    Reform UK: 1,373
    Britain First: 580
    The UK Independence Party: 436
    Liberal Democrats: 417

tendency is for the last election losers voters to get off their bums and vote whilst winners stay at home and keep warm and dry in the bad cold wet weather

THIS IS NOT AN OPINION just a report of the facts

    OBSERVATIONS from PMQ's...................
With a risk upsetting a staunch supporter of KS !!! today was a real " eye opener" on the failure of using a pre written script [ with the occassional attempt at belittling the PM and projects ]
I would suggest the best way to observe how to "hit the kill switch" on poorly prepared scripts is to watch PMQ's on I player later!
As I sit on the fence, awaiting the next GE, and how to place my vote, I note the ground on oneside, toward KS is slipping FURTHER AWAY!

I’ve not had a chance to watch it so can’t comment on PMQ’s.
But to suggest you are on the fence is laughable, you may kid yourself but you don’t kid anyone else, on the fence my arse <laugh><laugh>

you are a poor judge all round I'm afraid ..... I am currently on it, I dont need to hide or be bound by hereditary path's the only party I might vote for is the greens as a moral support to give them hope for the future. If they could get a dozen or so MP's then there would be change, a small change all be it in attitudes.

ps KS u turned on building houses ... bigged up his 2 latest MP's and both it turns out won [possibly ] because they both campaigned on new housing NOT BEING BUILT in their constituency!!!!

    Not a case of being a poor judge. You stated in your previous comment;

“ I note the ground on oneside, toward KS is slipping FURTHER”

that comment made me believe you were fence sitting in regards to Labour, silly me

Sorry, nice try, still insinuates you were considering labour before, or else how can it be further away after todays PMQ’s. Further away than what?

Your post was purely about how badly KS had performed in PMQ’s. Then at the end you said

“As I sit on the fence, awaiting the next GE, andhow to place my vote, I note the ground ononeside, toward KS is slipping FURTHERAWAY!

No mention of any other party, not the Greens, nor anyone else for that matter. So in the context of the post any NORMAL person would take it you were talking about KS, and Labour.

Go on - admit it, you’ll feel much better for being honest !!

my comment was sitting on the fence.... waiting for the next gen election I noticed the the ground is slipping further away ... there is no mention of who is on the other side! If there was just one eitherside then it would rather defeat the object of waiting for who to PLACE my vote for [ as on many occassions recently I have said wont be KS ] could be any one for any party!

[ In a discussion exchange of views always good to keep what has previously been discussed in mind, all of it, not just bits that fit the post at the time! ]

Vernon Kay's BBC Radio 2 show has 6.9 million listeners, according to new audience figures - 1.3 million fewer than predecessor Ken Bruce pulled in before he left the mid-morning slot.

The highlight of this time slot was POPMASTER a looked forward to 20 mins each morning when people "planned tea breaks and being available" I used to occasionally get into double figures. It was unique 10 Q's 3 double points, first Q was nearly always answereable!
The substitute "compo" is dire, off putting in fact. Dont think I have tuned in more than a dozen times and 5 of those were first week.

Bruce, going head-to-head with his Radio 2 successor, has increased the audience for his new Greatest Hits show to 3.7 million.

Suella Braverman....... it will be entirely unjustifiable if she gets the sack! the opposition is constantly backtracking and spinning when opportunities arise to deflect from their purpose of being the headlines!
SHE is what this country needs someone who says it as it is and the majority of this country is likely behind her omments!

Tomorrow is a day needing respect, unfortunately the mobsters anti police anti government are hell bent on using the day to show how they disrespect humanity and also the reason why most of them are actually now on this planet .... most people on here over 70 are likely the result of the war!!! WW2 I know I am... ! so all the children concieved from that period would not be here as the liklihood their parents/ grandparents/ great granparents are a result of that dreadful occassion WW2

NOTE.. in case you dont understand that reasoning! take 5 men and 5 women living peaceablly 1940, in a village / town they all become partners and have kids and life goes on and on etc

Take couple A they have a child who becomes a city fan in 1950 or 60 or ... that family tree brings them to the present where the latest son[ a g grandson ] is "strike me down red " on this forum! All happy days.

1940 Lady A was going to marry gentleman A but he was killed when his plane was shot down ... so no "strike me down red" .. however she gets married though to a gentleman maybe from another town village or place, who surviveda concentration camp or POW of the Japanese and has a son .... who becomes a city fan in 1950 or 60 or ... that family tree brings them to the present where the latest son[ a grandson ] is "strike me down red " on this forum! All happy days. .....
it may have been the same egg but a different sperm = a different person ...

most of those marching have no respect for humanity ..
and likely there will be consequences of trouble

Braverman should be sacked, on so many levels .

it’s not her role to publicly question operational policing decisions. The police are independent, they work within the guidelines set down by parliament as a whole, they are not at the beck and call of any single politician, even the Home Secretary. In fact the Home Secretary specifically shouldn’t try to influence them. Whatever the political persuasion the Home Secretary is.

Also her article wasn’t agreed by No 10, in fact apparently they asked her to make numerous changes to it, which she chose not to do.

As for the statement that most of those marching have no respect for Humanity - what a ridiculous statement.

Peaceful marches are an established right within a democratic society, whether you agree with the sentiment behind them or not, and long may that continue.

I would even go so far to say Suellas statement could be seen as inciting violence. I believe She’s dangerous, or at least her comments are.

    Edit
She was grandstanding imo, she’s angling to be the next Tory leader, what she did was a deliberate attempt to undermine Richi, he should sack her without hesitation

The irony of this is the right for the freedom to peacefully protest is one of the things the veterans fought for. Yet some would try to prevent it in their name. Shame on you Suella

She’s merely saying what many many people think

The police do have double standards
They’ll kneel for BLM and wear rainbows for Pride month yet they stood idly by and watched idiots pull down Colstons statue and almost encourage those who support Palestine to march on Armistice weekend.

And the illegals crossing the channel is an invasion. There is no other word for it

Nice to see a politician telling it as it really is for once

She is the Home Secretary, with the role comes responsibilities, if she has those views that’s her choice, but in the position of Home Secretary she cannot challenge operational policing decisions, if she wants to state her views she has to step down from her role.

You say good to see a politician saying it as it is, but she isn’t just a politician she’s in a privileged role and with the role comes responsibilities.

She is also a member of the cabinet, again that comes with collective responsibilities, that’s why she should get anything she says signed off by the PM. She didn’t do that either, in fact she ignored their advice to change her statement, you can’t have senior ministers going off piste even if you personally agree with her views.

    That’s as may be
But Governments these days are so hamstring by bloody do gooders, appeals, and endless legal wrangles that cost millions and take forever, that nothing much gets done even if there is a collective will to do so.

I see it as merely as her voicing her frustrations at not being able to carry out her duties and get things done.
