Bloody naive Ange, sticking to his philosophy. He'll learn when he's managed a few more clubs.

Of the starting 11, at the final whistle Spurs had just four of them on the pitch
First half 57 minutes long. Ball in play for 23.
Over 20 minutes of the game spent checking VAR
    5 disallowed goals
Fair play to Romero and Udogie, should have been red carded straight up, To put right the referees error, they made sure they were sent off.
Spurs defending on the half way line with nine men.

Bit early for the pantomine season, but I am not sure what else you could call that level of farce.

It was an utterly bizarre game.
In fact, the most bizarre game I've watched since we played Doncaster in the EFL cup earlier this season :emoticon-0105-wink:

Manure still look a shambles of a club, and Den Haag style just doesn't seem to suit, I wonder what will happen when Radcliffe gets to run the footballing side?

Will he? As a very much minority shareholder he could be vetoed any time the Glazers like. Madness. You do not amass the fortune he has by being daft. Why go full blown loopy to buy a football club?

It does seem strange to invest all that money for 25%, but as you say the Glazers must have the final say on new signings, so how much control they get is very much up for debate.

Radcliffe will have complete control over all football operations, he’ll decide the Director of Football, the manager and all the player signings.

tuesday night cup game in ireland between ballymena and coleraine.

ballymena went ahead just before halftime and coleraine levelled from the spot 14 minutes into the second half.
extra time brought no more goals, so it went to penalties.

    44 of them.

so both sets of players took two each before the end. ballymena's keeper missed his second effort to make it 17-18. nobody missed twice and 13 players scored twice.

I listen to a good podcast called The price of football which Kieran Maguire does and in their last episode Norwich were mentioned as not in the best health financially.

I will join your chorus of 'I told you so'.

Goal line technology? Fine. We have simple technology that can indicate whether a ball has crossed a line or not.

    Was his nose offside?

Is his hand in an unnatural position? (say, no longer attached to his arm, perhaps - that would be an unnatural position for a hand).

Is intent clarified by replay speed?

    Get to ****.

The death knell for VAR is that it makes mistakes.

It's sole purpose was to eradicate mistakes.

Ergo, it doesn't ****ing work. Not fit for purpose.
