Really missing Odegaard. He just makes the whole frontline tick.

Declan Rice is an absolute baller though! 60 mins in and he has 100% pass completion.

    Lovely goal! 2-0

Hopefully Saka's finding his form again, been better today.

    Saka! 2-0!

Really smart run by Martinelli, who plays a lovely through ball into Saka who checks back onto his left foot and finishes excellently. Fantastic goal.

Juanlu is going to have nightmares about Martinelli tonight. The electric Brazilian is beating the fullback every single time he gets the ball. I’m surprised they’ve not tried to give him more protection and switched sides.

Still saying it.. Ramsdale is better than Raya.

He's not bad but he does make mistakes under pressure.

The referee hasn’t had that much to deal with tonight, yet the little he has had to deal with, he’s gotten completely wrong. Should have been a corner to us, quite obviously, and he’s given a goal kick <doh>

Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson coming on for Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli.

Oh dear. Saka landed awkwardly there. Really hope this isn’t serious.
Take him off, Mikel. Don’t be an idiot.

There’s 7 minutes left, the game is effectively over. He’s gotten up, but he’s limping. Just sub him off man!

Saka has gone down again. Is Mikel going to sub him off or what?

EDIT: Ok, Kiwior has come on. Fine.

    FT. 2-0.

Dominant performance. Had a couple of sloppy moments in the second half, but honestly, we were commanding that game to such a level that even 4-0 wouldn't have flattered us. Sevilla offered absolutely zilch. 0 shots all game. The only thing that concerned me was that we didn't convert our dominance into more goals because we should have battered Sevilla tonight, they were there for the taking. Nonetheless, it doesn't matter now - good performance and an important win.

We should be topping this group with relative ease from this point. We're in total control of our own destiny.

Just have to hope Tomiyasu and Saka's subs were precautionary and aren't too serious. Last thing we need is more injuries.

    Onto Burnley <ok>

Really comprehensive performance, and good to see us playing flowing connected football even without Odegaard and Jesus.

Do we even miss Partey now ?

    I'd agree actually <laugh>

    He's a rolls royce of a player

But... he's out so often that we cannot rely on him for more than 2 or 3 games in a row

Well I agree we miss him as in the big games would be good to play him and Rice but..

I do think Rice is our best No.6 and I think we still need to sign a top class player for the Xhaka/No.8 position.

People are debating whether an #8 or a CF is more of a priority - although I know we need both, it’s unlikely we’ll get both in January. So if I have to pick one, it has to be an #8.

Havertz was ok yesterday and was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions, but again, he’s not moving the needle for us.
I just feel like we need a player who’s more proactive in breaking into the box and getting in advanced positions, but who can also provide some central threat either through penetrative passing or dribbling, and can help us maintain structure in midfield.

    I loved that performance.
One of the most controlled performances I can remember from us in Europe.
