I was pretty pleased with the way we played yesterday and the scoreline did flatter city a bit but they did deserve to win. At the end of the day Man Utd lost 6-1 to them and our starting 11 combined was probably cheaper than Aguero! S the fact that it took them two penalties (the second one was very soft aswell) to beat us shows how good we really are. Also the quality on the bench that city had was phenomenal, we brought on Perch and they brought on the best player in the premier league! No disrespect to Perch but he's no Silva. We can take lots of positives from this game though and most of the negatives were individual errors and after all even the very best have off days.

Krul-7-Some great saves, nothing he could do about the goals.
Simpson-7-A solid game. Defiantly one of his best performances for me.
    Saylor-8-Phenomenal once again.
Coloccini-7-A good solid game, not his best but he was still good.
Raylor-4-Had a bit of a shocker. Two goals were directly his fault. He has been brilliant this season though so we should just forget about this and move on quickly.
Sammy-7-Played well. Helped the full back out and wasn't afraid to have a go at city. He can't cross though.
Cabaye-7-Solid but he was quiet at times. Not his best but he was still decent.
Guthrie-8-A very good game. Controlled the midfield. Perhaps he should have passed the across the face to Saylor and we would have scored rather than booting it off Hart but a very good all road performance.
Jonas-7-Not as good as usual but he still did well. Had to play very defensive.
Ben Arfa-8-Our creative spark. Unlucky to hit the post, 9 times out of 10 he probably would have put that in. A great pass to Ba who should have scored. Unlucky with the pen it was very soft and probably shouldn't have been given. Again though at the club everyone was getting pissed off with him like they do at St James and they were all saying that he's **** and we should sell him etc. For me he played well though. Not to mention it's only his first start back since an injury that would have ended the majority of players career.
Ba-6-A bad day at the office but even the best have of days. He needed a strike partner as he was very isolated and he had to feed on scraps. A shocking miss from the lovely pass by Ben Arfa, he should have smashed it into the net rather than tamely passing it towards goal. On another day he would have scored that header aswell. He did well in the build up to Goslings goal though. He needs to forget about this performance and move on quickly.

Think you're spot on with the ratings boss <ok>

May have given Raylor a 5 though...yeh, fair enough he had a shoddy game. But things could have gone alot worse for him. Least he stuck it out

Krul 6 - couple of good saves but maybe could have saved the second goal? Other than that not a lot to say

Simpson 6 - decent, no complaints but nothing spectacular
Taylor 7 - very good, our MOTM I thought.
    Colo 6 - see Simpson
Raylor 4 - 2 mistakes for the goals, done well this season but had a bit of a shocker

Sammy 5 - not brilliant but a couple of decent shots and on paper the hardest game in the league for his debut
Cabaye and Guthrie 6 - struggled to make much of an impact, a nice run from Guthrie where he nearly scored though
Jonas 6 - understandably played very deep but not one of his better days

Ben Arfa 6 - a bright spark on an otherwise bad day, some good runs and should have scored but did give a pen away
Ba 5 - an off day, should gave scored

Feel like I'm being very harsh when I look at your ratings but we were outplayed by a better side.

Arguably, Perch did more than Silva when he came on <whistle>
