Transitioning the ball through your thirds… Does he mean gerring it forrard? Maybe they would wonder if you can get this transition done on the NHS?
I’d like to be a Set-Piece Coach. [‘It’s a corner. Kick it high enough so it goes over the head of the opposition guy nearest to you, even if he jumps’. ‘It’s an indirect free-kick – the ref has his arm in the air. Don’t shoot’. ‘You’re a West Ham player. Go away and leave it to James’.] Alex Stokoe, Newcastle upon Tyne https://www.football365.com/news/arsenal-one-shot-target-var-not-problem-mailbox
No one down the pub would put up with that They would put him on ignore. In other words, tell him to **** off. “Stop playing a low box and transition it through the thirds.” Or as, normal fans would say, stop fannying around at the back and start attacking.
Twine should be banned from taking direct free kicks. Give Delap a try; or let Allsop transition from his low box to whack them home.
It's been some time since I transitioned through my low box. Prior to my prostrate issues and subsequent daily medication,I was renowned for my dribbling and ferocious shot too...
I was reading about some Italian clubs who would have a couple of hours in the morning, have a meal, go to bed for two hours and then have another two hour session.
Given his recent form it seems that Twine practices his direct free kicks in his bed. Hopefully his practice will soon, very soon, bear fruit. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Not sure anyone suggested it's how you talk about it down at the pub, just that it's the technical jargon used by analysts.
Twine came as a professed free kick specialist, at the present time he seems to have left that specialism behind. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
When we have mods who censor some things but themselves call people ****s it is to be hoped that the children of some of the delicate souls on here are not reading.
Not noticed them actually modding since the conversation (read **** they got from all sides) about too much getting deleted several months ago. Unless I've missed something.
