The players and Eddie will be disappointed with the performance, so it's ok for us fans to be aswell, we weren't unlucky, we were second best really, the first game was closer and we were poor in that aswell. Doesn't mean we aren't doing well as a club overall, of course we are, but we are allowed to be critical of performances at the same time.
I think we'll beat Milan at home and finish 3rd but it does leave the remote possibility that if we drew away to PSG we would finish above them (as our head-to-head is better, that is assuming Dortmund beat them and I think they will). It's nice that the PSG game is next as I'm pretty sure we'll lose and at least it brushes away the hope sooner rather than later.
I'd rather if we were out we're out. This demotion bollox is just another money grabbing pile of **** from UEFA, same as the seedings etc. All for TV companies benefit rather than sport. Likewise guarantee whoever wins between us/chelsea and West Ham/Liverpool do not face each other in the semi of the league cup. That's what they want for the final.
Draw probs, keeps Milan below us and if we somehow beat Paris, then beating Milan would see us go through!
I’m 99% sure we’re finishing 3rd / 4th but I’ll always keep that glimmer of hope, otherwise there’s no point being a fan really! To be honest I am just enjoying / am enjoying seeing our name in the Champions League. Michael Jordan didn’t become the best basketballer without a few slip ups along the way. We’re only going to get better, we will have surpassed Dortmund, Milan in a few years.
Win in Paris and it’s game on. Who remembers us losing all of our first 3 games and still qualifying under Sir Bobby
