This is true .. if everyone was fit we'd have done OK but ultimately injuries happen and Newcastle will move fwd when the dross is removed. There's still an underbelly of players that will now be fazed out.
They need to spend another couple million, which will come in the next window I think. But, most importantly, stop spending so much time convincing big money players to move to Newcastle, time and money were spent on Tonali with no guarantee he would be any good. Before his ****ing ban, he was playing very poor.

I still can't believe they made it into the top 4 but I always maintained they overachieved whereas I feel some thought Newcastle were already elite. Newcastle like you say need to spend a good few more million and they will so it's all good. It's been so good and it'll get better, but not without a few painful ones along the way.
That and Wilsons at St James is why the toon are out but let's not pretend they didnt miss more overall. Dortmund were better than Newcastle plain and simple.
They were always going to be phased out but it takes time. So everyone should stop whittling, enjoy the ride and be happy that we have very good players like Isak and Botman and potentially great players like Tino and Miley.
That's been made apparent many, many times on this board like. As soon as you say something after a loss it's the same old ****ing lines. I've seen people on here be hit with that nonsense when commenting on things that happened during the match.
