Chief football writer for the Telegraph, decent amount of followers on X / Twitter. Not your usual bored kid in his bedroom.
cheers. Does he have a history of getting the inside scoop on breaking city stories? Seems strange for it to appear here first
I'm sure in one of Tan's recent interviews (possibly pre-match on Humberside on Sat) he alluded to this but it was really casual and wasn't picked up by whoever was interviewing.
Try reading the likes of the Telegraph and Times. You would come across people like him. Is very good. Was always worth listening to on that Sunday morning discussion programme started by Jimmy Hill which SKY sadly decided to end and replace it with more “relevant” stuff. As was the lad from the HDM who moved onto the nationals. And a female reporter from one of the broadsheets. In fact some of the best contributions were from writers on the broadsheets. Martin Samuel was always worth listening to as well.
There'll be some wet bed sheets tonight. Long term commitment to a long term project. What’s not to like?
Wow...this is fantastic news,i am over the moon with this, long may the boring rosieball system continue....rather similar to watching my skirting boards dry after i have glossed them...
Pretty sure everyone has agreed there's been "some" progress..... people wanted to discuss the progress and potential further ( and there's definitely a fair few) improvements etc. get over it. Anyway if Hull live are to be believed and there is interest elsewhere, then why on earth wouldn't the club attempt to tie him down to a longer contract to protect their asset just incase, it's a win win all round. But it won't change the fact that if things change and things aren't working then he'll be moved on. Just as any manager is
... if someone does come knocking, an extended contract means a larger buy out... I'm assuming that one exists in his contract of course.
