I do mate ... but there are a hundred Palestinian deaths monthly in the West Bank alone ... caused by either illegally occupying Israeli soldiers or heavily armed illegal Israeli settlers ... my point was that the 'constant threat' goes both ways and that many more Palestinians are dying from it than Israelis ... What I hope to see, in my lifetime, is the removal of that threat for all - and that's not going to happen by force of arms ... or whilst illegal occupation and increasing illegal settlement continues ...
A Palestinian journalist and 42 family members were killed by one strike in Gaza City last night ... Israel spinning the usual rhetoric of them bringing it on themselves by not following their directive to move south ... to Khan Younis where airstrikes killed at least 23? or Rafa where a strike killed 10? ... As you say - such actions will only ensure a whole new generation of Palestinians will become revenge seeking radicals ...
The whole premise that it’s Palestinian’s fault for backing Hamas, not building shelters, using human shields, not evacuating etc etc is gaslighting on a barbaric scale those people have been killed by Israeli rockets. nothing else
So Netanyahu has just admitted that Israeli will take control of Gaza and the security there ‘indefinitely’ after this war/slaughter remember CK saying that Israel wanted nothing to do with Gaza and the 2.2 million people there Well, the plan is clear. Illegally occupy Gaza and control its population.
More Israeli air strikes overnight, killing people in the ‘safe’ zones that Israel told Palestinians to move to
As long as they show their papers when asked and abide by their 8pm-8am curfew all will be well in the world.
This is what real Jews think of the Zionists running Israel…….but from a flat above kebab shop in Brighton things are so different
UN agency spokesperson comments that an average of 160 children per day are being killed in Gaza ... barbaric and inexcusable - do hope the UN has the balls to investigate war crimes against Netanyahu and the others behind the slaughter once the carnage stops ...
They didn't with Blair and Iraq, doubt anyone will with Putin either, well not anything that will make a tad bit of difference to his life. Netanyahu, who will care if they did, would the Jewish communities or Israeli's care if he was strung up in the same way as Saddam, would the world weep for him, personally I wouldn't, so whatever happens and the conclusion, it has zero affects on anything that has happened or that will happen. It's like the IRA scoring a victory in blowing Thatcher up, only they didn't. Who was the guy from the Yugoslavia war, they caught and tried, he just topped himself in front of the worlds media, so whatever side of the fence you sat, no justice was ever served. I would have thought you'd had been around in this world long enough to know that. I could go on, Hitler, his bloodline...No ****tes will be given, it's all pointess words.
Security responsibility does not equate to occupying and controlling. It means Gaza will be a demilitarised zone until a viable alternative to governance can be appointed. Israel will oversee and maintain that demilitarisation. This will likely take a very long time. I've written at length about how difficult the Gaza piece has always been in the peace roadmap. No one, neither Israel nor the rest of the world, has yet provided a clear contingency plan whereby a Palestinian state exists in two different places without either cutting Israel in half or costing the GDPR of a major economy. It would be hard enough without Hamas in charge, so removing them and imposing a period of demilitarisation is the only option to take while everyone figures out what to do next. The ideal would be for the UN to step in and engage proactively with plans for the 'day after', setting up a peacekeeping force etc but they've shown no willingness to do so, almost certainly because the UN doesn't actually want Hamas to be removed in the first place. Fosse should really work for the UN as it happens. The Saudis should also step up massively but they won't. War is profitable. Peace isn't. They don't do anything unless it's for money. According to the most recent polls over 75% of all Israelis want nothing to do with Gaza. We won't know for sure for at least a few years but if you turn out to be right and Israel ends up fully occupying Gaza and rebuilding the Gush settlements there, I'll gladly change my avatar to Sol Campbell for a year.
