Yeah as gutted as I feel after that game, it’s 1 defeat in 11 and 2nd in the league. Spurs are well ahead of where I expected them to be right now. Hopefully the next few games will show the club they need to strengthen the squad in the transfer window and they can get in a couple more decent players
Ange has been great and Spurs will be sound under him. I do think yesterday was the first time that he got it wrong and maybe showed a weakness. It’s admirable always looking to be positive and playing on the front foot but with 9 men you need to batten down the hatches and manage the game differently. He needs to show he’s got more in his locker and that he’s not a one trick pony.
Playing with a high defensive line when you are down to 9 men is pretty much suicide, especially when you lack pace at the back. For all the faults of our forward line players, and their inability to score, one thing you cant say about them is that they lack pace. Sterling and Jackson are both pretty quick.
Yeah, exactly. Your pace is your threat. Breaking teams down with a wall in front of you is where you are still a work in progress. Ange got it wrong yesterday.
Biggest downside to last night was the injuries to the best Dutch centre back in the PL and that sick baller in the middle who rejected Newcastle because he wanted to play for a bigger club the rest is no probs Big Ange got this
