    Lol, no they're not.

They looked utter dogshit against 9 men, Spurs were organised, and could have easily equalised, it took Chelsea until injured time to secure the points, after playing for over an hour against 10 men and most of the second half against 9 men.

Nicolas Jackson got a hat trick, but should have had about 10, he ain't all that.

Watched them vs arsenal also they're definitely improving. If anyone thinks it's going to be easy there in the cup think again.

Did you watch them last night though? They were bloody awful.

I think we'll smash them in the league, but they'll probably up their game in the cup, as there's no pressure on them, unlike Man U.

They are 5 points behind Newcastle I've been watching them and while there's still something not right they're improving.

    There's a lot not right.

When they're being comfortably controlled by 9 men for a lot of the game, something's very wrong. Other teams will have been watching that, and be ready to rip them apart now.

They ain't close to a top 6 team.

Currently 5 points away they've got good players and a good manager so I think they'll get better.

Must admit I was hoping for a draw so that Chelsea didn't get the first bit of wind in their sails. Don't want them remembering how to win at football matches... But they didn't look good.

    It's still a huge cluster **** there.

I'm confident about beating them in the league, but I think they might put in extra effort in the cup and make it tough for us.

They're getting better don't think they'll do much this season but away in the cup is a tough one regardless.

Fingers crossed mate I'm not arsed about the league that much.

I agree with you. They are starting to gel and they will be a harder team to beat.

However there is a fundamental weakness in their system and that is that they build moves too slowly. They are like Arsenal were a few years ago just endlessly playing square balls in front of the opposition midfield and back four. The slow build up play stems from the two centre backs and Caicedo in midfield. He is a great defensive midfielder but so slow moving the ball forward.

Spurs could probably have held out with 9 men if they had gone back to defending the final 3rd when they went down to 9 men but they chose to continue trying to play a high defensive line and left so much space behind for Chelsea to exploit.

Its noticeable that Chelsea's biggest upsets (like the 0-3 home defeat to Brentford) come at home where the opposition sit in and look for goals on the counter attack. Away from home the onus is on the home team to attack and it suits them. They have won 2/3 of the points they have away this season.

Its probably a good thing we are playing them away in the Carabou Cup.

Disagree there, they looked all over the place last night, and needed Spurs to go kamikaze before they thought about playing like a team.

Even when they had a 2 man advantage they were struggling to break down Spurs, endless offsides etc. 4-1 really flattered them.

The problem is they don't have much chance in the league, and now in the quarters of the league cup, they'll put everything into that match.
