I don't understand why pochettino has not said he is not even thinking about managing us in future .... if Ange was an ex Chelsea manager and he was saying "who knows, maybe" when asked I'd be well pissed off. If (and I mean if) they don't start picking up results it could be enough for the fans (and owners) to turn on him. I am not confident of a result tonight tbh. They have a habit since 2008 of passing on our parade at regular intervals. 2011 FA cup semi 2012 winning CL costing us a place 2015 League Cup final 2016 drawing with us making Leicester champions 2016 being the first team to beat us that season in the 13th match ... in November 2017 FA cup semi 2017 beating us to the title 2022 league Cup semi
I put that one primarily on Arry (even now I cannot forgive him) . "2016 drawing with us making Leicester champions" Lesta still would have won the PL even if Chelsky had continued their disgraceful season play in that game. I have long stated that the PL broadcasters did far more damage to Spurs faint hopes than any opponent did.
Starting XI: Vicario, Pedro Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie, Maddison, Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Son (c), Johnson. Substitutes: Forster, Royal, Dier, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Lo Celso, Bryan, Richarlison. I trust that Udogie is at least 70 mins match fit. Act of confidence from Ange in Johnson to deliver.
He camped out on our board last season convincing himself he was jinxing us...ignoring we were total ****e
It’s debatable as Sarr is playing so well. I’d be interested for us to go 4 in midfield and have all of them with maybe 2 up front against city away for example. But maybe that’s not the Ange way!
