Now at 10,022 ... how many will it take to satisfy Netanyahu's blood lust, do you think? ...

... but to answer your question - it should stop when every Hamas terrorist that committed atrocities on 7th October has been made to answer for those actions ... but WITHOUT close to 8,000 civilian 'collateral damage' deaths ...

My penalty saving record in the NW London Jewish League third division was poor at best so I’m not hopeful. Then again the other team would probably forfeit as the Leeds University JSOC team found when a fixture against the Arab Society was postponed last week.

Well I’m open to ideas on how you make those terrorists accountable without civilian casualties. No one else seems to have worked it out as yet.

I doubt Bibi has a number in mind. Just keep going until the job is done.

You can kill individual fighters- you can't kill an ideology seeking an independent Palestinian homeland unless you kill every single Palestinian... and if you do that you just stir the Arab hotpot even more ...

You really have no understanding of the situation at all, they aren't so much seeking a homeland, it's the complete and utter destruction of Israel.

i'm just trying to explain reality to you .
Israel feels it is a country under constant threat and again why looking back at their previous responses to terrorist attacks are you surprised that the response is "disproportionate"

That may be Hamas and Hezbollah's stared aim, and yes I do understand that and also that it can never happen ... but I don't think it applies to average Palestinians most of whom just want to be left alone in their own lands ...

Israel is the one under constant threat? - since 2008 until now, there have been approx 1,700 Israeli deaths ... adding in last night's carnage the Palestinian number is around 20,000 ...

Reality is what you make of it ... our reality is that there is no way that us or the US would target hospitals, churches, mosques, schools, refugee camps or civilian convoys on the scale that Israel has been doing ... firstly I don't believe we would do it anyway ... secondly our general public would be out on the streets demonstrating en masse against such actions ...

Voting for Hamas was probably an error in hindsight even with their manifesto pledge to boost tourism with @PINKIE as a consultant.
Admittedly not the fault of the 50% of people too young to vote even now or those too young in 2006 but a silly thing to do nonetheless.

You could have a one state solution with a power sharing Govt, a bit like the NI solution. Although ethnically and culturally there are more differences, as essentially the Irish are just that, Irish. Albeit some of them like to call themselves British.

That said, there was a time where Jews, Arabs, Muslims and Christians lived in peace with each other in Palestine. It was largely European immigration to the area, a lack of integration into the existing culture and the failed Palestine Mandate that led to the situation we're in now.

Whatever solution two state/ one state, there has to be compromise on both sides. Hamas has to give up the weapons and Israel has to give up land, border control, blockades etc.

The current leaders aren’t the people to negotiate any of this as they clearly want to wipe each other off the map, which simply isn’t going to happen. So a negotiated settlement has to happen.

yes, it is, anyone who doesn't think it is has absolutely no grasp of the situation at all. Surely you are old enough to remember at least one of the invasions by their neighbours?

We just remove peoples citizenship instead, then leave them dumped in some refugee camp on a wasteland miles from the UK. We even do this to young children that have been groomed. Oh and not forgetting Yugoslavia and our bombs of peace. Although we did have protests over Iraq, that didn't make one jot of a difference to the thousands that died. One thing you could have guaranteed is if Shamima had been named Susan you could have guaranteed a totally different outcome, that's the reality... https://news.sky.com/story/shamima-...l-was-unlawful-court-of-appeal-hears-12991839

This is the nub of it though isn't it. The 'response'

7th Oct wasn't the first massacre in the region, far from it.

In 1948 the Deir Yassin massacre against Palestinians, 4 days later a retaliatory massacre against Israelis

And on it goes, right up until today where we are witnessing a massacre on a scale far worse than before.

The leaders up until now have failed, neither are going to wipe each other off the map and no military response will ever solve this.

So you have to stand up and when people want revenge and retribution and fight for peace instead.

You don't get it bro lol.

It don't matter if it's a two state solution or a one state solution, the outcome will be the same, because you have no concept of adjusting the language. Straight away after that paragraph you went into religion, which again is divisive. You then went on and mentioned European, which a fair few Palestinians would happily lynch you for at the moment. Please whatever happens don't get involved in any negotiations, the world will end up at war, and you'll end up selling tourist holidays in hell.
