4th vs 5th. Big game this. A win before the international break would be nice. Would love to see a few minutes of the Loch Ness Drogba as well. No Bednarek makes me nervous about the defence!
…loading… is our lucky talisman bringing us a run of success….so we know who to blame when it goes wrong.
If you want a good insight into what to expect from WBA watch the latest TSP, in which a WBA podcaster explains how they set up and play. Spoiler alert!! If you don’t want to watch it he basically believes that the first goal wins the game because WBA set up to hit on the break and defend well enough to have had 7 clean sheets in their last 10 games, so if they score first he thinks they are good enough to defend it. However, if we score first he’s not sure that they can chase a game as it would mean changing their fundamental style of play.
Really looking forward to this one. Best team we've played since Leeds and it looks like a couple of changes might be forced in defence so I'm really intrigued to see how we perform.
It was interesting that as they have basically played 7 of the worst teams in the league over that period. You still have to beat what is there, but it might not be an accurate reflection of where they are!
Are we even going to have enough players for the bench? Bednarek and Bree will presumably be replaced by Holgate & Manning. But who replaces them on the bench? The usual suspects of SAA, Meghoma & Dibling away on international. Doyle injured. Not sure who of the u21s might step up?
Insightful and detailed assessment of Saturday's game. We'll annihilate them Fraz scoring in the seventh minute of Russtime.
Lol I was thinking the same. I think if you listen carefully you can see Glen feels the same in his voice. 3-1 Saints after they have to come at us.
