Peter. I’ve already said I agreed he could’ve played it out quicker but you’re willingly ignoring it now. I said that when Wallace had applied pressure later in the play the best option was Seri who later ****ed up his pass.
For this game, I think it is fair to say Liam's options were limited. Jaden, Lokilo, Sinik, & Connolly all out, so options off the bench to freshen things up very limited. I think it was a game which we looked unbalanced from the start because of availability, and it caught up with us once legs started tiring.
They still make too many blunders at the back. More than the one's that have resulted in goals. They can still be too slow switching from defence to attack. This is why we dont create many chances.
Pep isnt our manager. Rosenior is. Stones was an England international before he moved to Manchester City. It's not like he was a Championship player about to be remodelled. Do you really think people like Jones and Coyle are about to become the next Stones and Walker?
You also said that Seri was his best option. Why pass to Seri when he was surrounded by 4 West Brom players? Wallace didnt apply pressure - Seri passed the ball to him!
So, because they aren’t likely to ever be good enough to be Champions League winners there’s no point in trying to improve them?
Read what I said. I said: “He should be trying to take advantage of the ability they have and improve it but not try to change them to be a totally different player.” #739 You are trying to catch me out but are on shakey ground
Strange that I give what I would think to be perfectly sensible views about what City are doing wrong and how they could improve yet I get criticised. For example: I say that Rosenior should try to improve the players but I still get "So you think Rosenior shouldnt try to improve the players?"
Highlights how clinical WBA were. Honestly it isn't an inaccurate assessment to say that we didn't manage the moments well. We had a good spell up until their second goal and it felt like the big chance was coming. Once they scored it shifted all momentum. All the more frustrating we didn't have anything from the bench to change the game
he couldnt have applied any pressure if Allsop had held on to the ball. Dropping the ball to his feet enabled Wallace to apply pressure.
