I was at Mass this morning and it was a special Mass for children making their First Communion next year. The Priest was talking about the end of the Church year and asked them when the calendar year begins to which one of them replied that it begins on September 1st If this is the future of the country I do despair since they can't even get something as simple as the beginning of the calendar year right.
Nah the Priest was very clear when he said calendar year. At that age kids should know the difference between school and calendar years.
Our schools are perfectly fine IMO. Most kids are as bright as new buttons. I have two kids going through scools and I am more than happy. The young 'un either misunderstood of is one of the stupid ones.
So because one kid is a moron all of them must be? Because education was so much better in the good old days...
Every Generation thinks the next one is crap and theirs was so much better. The only way this is true is with Kid's TV. Gone are the cartoons where a cat and mouse tore the **** out of each other, now every program is 'real' and involves relationships and sex and crap, stuff that when I was a 7 year old you'd go 'errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' and so would everyone else, now people wonder why teen pregnancy is going up.
What makes it even more ironic is that if this generation was/is 'worse' whose fault would it be for ****ing them up?
Jesus Sam, anyone would think you were about 50. You only left school 12 years ago, not that much has changed in that time.
