I very rarely drink more than 1-2 these days but the late winner got me hyped so suffering like **** today. No way could I handle any sort of event!

I take it the 1 or 2 is pints and not bottles of spirits. We left last night as the second 2 litre bottle of rum was all but done. Thanks Mrs Jab for organising the transport in timely fashion.

That's really good. You can see how upset he is yet still has the good grace to give Saints due credit. That must have been a real body blow to the Millwall fans losing late on after watching their team give their all. Even the lad behind him giving the ****er signs to the Saints fans on 3 min, you can see his heart's not really in it. I've seen ****er signs given with more conviction at the kids sports day.

Managers, the media and players all like their catchphrases and I am now predicting that every time we are mentioned in interviews it will be " Southampton are the best team in this division for keeping the ball". Rooney said it last week and yesterday interim manager Adam Barrett also said it.
As long as we keep playing well this is how we are going to be known from now on.

Yesterday the bloke next to me said he was bored in the 2nd half. He must have either been watching a different match on his phone or have a very low boredom threshold. I have a solution for him as well: don't buy a ****ing ticket next time.

The BBC report says it was a `forgettable game`. I must`ve been watching a different game - I thought it was quite an interesting clash of styles, and absorbing how Saints kept pressing and probing for an opening which eventually, deservedly, came our way.

The person writing the report was probably not at the game, copy and pasting another report. BBC reporting on Saints could be done a lot better, if they got their head out of the PL a**.

One thing I was surprised at was the lack of a hostile reception for Downes. I couldn't hear a single boo. Millwall fans must be getting soft.

The bbc are only interested in Rooney’s Birmingham.

I watched the various pieces of coverage available of the match, and I can't help feeling that, when Adam Armstrong received the ball that he passed to Fraser for Fraser's scoring shot, Adam was only just on the pitch, putting him further forwards than every Millwall player (in view), so he was technically offside. I'm not complaining, you understand, and there may have been Millwall players playing Adam onside, but I can see the undoubted benefits of not having VAR in The Championship.
To be honest, none of the Millwall players seemed to appeal for offside, and no-one (obviously) claimed that Armstrong was offside, so maybe he wasn't offside. What matters is that the record books will show that we won and gained three points, so I'll just be happy with that.
