You know for a fact these countries that Blinken is visiting, some of them are saying "Yeah of course they can't ceasefire, but we can't say anything different."

Turkey for one, Saudi Arabia second.

Would be absolute suicide for some of these countries to suggest anything different.

Anyway, about your idea of settlements over there, I suppose N Ireland is one big British settlement. I'm not averse to going further south and taking more land. Might as well take it all actually. Should be British, anyway.

 

Edward Longshanks had these tactics in Wales and, well, you can't argue they haven't been overall a success. It's extremely obvious in several parts of Wales, especially the South and the North that borders England that it's overwhelmingly er "British" or realistically "English."

He had the same plans in Scotland but the war with France meant overwhelming numbers of English troops were forced to leave the country, otherwise you may see England just encompass the entire British isles.

If any of that would have effected the future of Ireland, yeah probably, England would have slaughtered them all like 300 years ago.

What Hamaz did on October 7th was horrific and barbaric and those individuals that killed innocent civilians on that day MUST be held accountable for it ... and the Israeli regime, especially Netanyahu, has to be held accountable for the horrific and barbaric slaughter of Palestinian civilians ...

 

Well if he’s committed the crime he might as well see it through until Hamas are no more. Essentially blaming Israel for having better weapons and Hamas hiding over fighting.

 

Nope ... only blaming Israel for the senseless slaughter of over 7,000 Palestinian women and kids ... whatever they killed them with ... murder is still murder... it doesn't somehow become less abhorrent because your weaponry is more efficient ...

 

It does become a bit less abhorrent when Hamas have just murdered 1400 of your citizens in a day and raped however many a few weeks after a British Jewish family were shot to death in their car but that’s been forgotten about as it was just another day of living in Israel and barely scratches the news here.

Tbf a lot gets forgotten in this 56 yr+ conflict.

As to the level of horror - try telling the relatives of massacred families that it's far less horrific to see that all that remains of your loved ones is globules of flesh and bone in the rubble ... obviously that will come as some comfort to them ..
