We are just a solid reliable proven number 9 away from being a promotion contender.
I think we should all now pin our hopes on Mayenda. He's none of the above but apparently he could be good. It's the hope that kills eh.

We aren’t pissing the league therefore I’m not sure how analysing our games and pointing out the glaring issues we’re seeing week in week out is automatically viewed as being negative especially when it’s a fair analysis.

People will sling **** at PL players that have no bearing on them whatsoever when watching casually but can’t criticise their own teams players obvious errors because they think it makes less of a fan it’s strange.

Thing is we could sign what people class as a championship striker but I think we've played for that long last season without one that the players do back into how we played last season.

We seemed to play really narrow at times and tried to go through Swansea even we should have stretched the play by playing from the wide areas. I've said it more than once on here but I would really like to see Roberts and Clarke switching wings now and again to mix it up at times

Interesting views on here tonight, I thought we hammered them, on any other day it would have been 3 or 4 nowt at half-time. The centre forwards aren’t good enough “yet” and will probably be addressed in January, we just need to hang in and around the top 6 until then. We lost a lot of goals with Stewart & Amad but I can see Amad back in January and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was long term! We can’t get every recruitment right and obviously mistakes have been made up front but I have no doubt they will put that right in January.
Special mention to Patterson, the kids going to be Englands number 1 soon

I'm trying to ignore you on a forum that has a small number of posters. I was called out by someone else and replied.

As I said earlier best for us both to ignore each other

To be fair he's the one that Mowbray seems most excited about and it's not even close.

Be the same old. Finally get his debut, has no service whatsoever then gets pulled on 60 minutes without scoring and our fans are having another meltdown about us not having a world class striker.

Against teams who come out and play we are great. Our strength is on the counter. Teams that park the bus we struggle repeatedly to break them down. Swansea going to 10 and sitting back made life hard. We don’t have the strength to batter a way through or a Defoe who lives in the 6 yard box. We have a weakness that needs fixed either through coaching, tactics or recruitment. Time for TM and KS to both step up and fix it.

On a positive note I hope the lads took a note from today and realised you don’t need to capitulate once you go down to 10 men

We’ve lost games this season when we could have drew, we haven’t took a point often enough when we should. Today even though we are against 10 men a point isn’t a bad return. Before the game I would have took a point, people are pissed off because we played against 10 men for an hour, after our poor run I’m happy with 4 points in a week. We are back on track hopefully

Agree with everything you say except Amad. Man Utd are ****e I can see him being heavily involved for them 2nd half of the season.

Hope your right and I'm wrong mind.

Nee chance Ten Haag will pick Amad. Will more likely sell him (to us) to fund another Ajax flop
