Our unbeaten run might have come to an end but it's no disgrace to be beat by Man City on their own ground. How many teams are going to go there and win?

If's and but's etc but we were beaten by a better team on the day. Ba and HBA could have had a bit more luck with their efforts and knocked Citeh out of their stride and even allowed us to go on and score more. ( We can dream can't we?) And how many teams can bring on subs like Barry, Johnson, and Silva?

Raylor might have had a howler but let's not forget his crackers against the mackem's and Everton. Don't judge him on this one game.

A disappointing day but once again our travelling fans did us proud, you could hear them out singing and out shouting the Citeh fans and urging the team on throughout the game. It wasn't to be this time but we'll win more than we'll lose and we've still got a lot to look forward to this season. Be nice to get back on track against the reds of Manchester.

    HTL.

What strikes me about this season is that order seems to be in place and we're all going to have to try get used to it. We've been so used to nicking decent results from big teams but then losing to mediocre/poor teams. Natural order has been restored now and we're playing to a steady and understandable quality which will improve over time, I prefer this and thus don't mind if we only get a point or two out of the next couple of games. I'd be disappointed if we lost all three but if we lost all three and then went back on a winning streak over the following winnable games then what's the problem?

Basically my exact thoughts on another thread. They deserved to win and have ridiculous resources. More positives than negatives for me

couldn't agree more with what's been said i'd be more gutted if we started losing against teams we should really be winning against and besides if we lose the 2 coming up it's not a bad blip (every team has one) really to lose to what i see as the top 3 teams in the country.AB Jim i've got the bedsheets ready <ok>

Yeah last season we seemed to do really well against the top sides but then dropped points against sides like Wigan and Blackburn at home.

City are a class above, although my £5 on newcastle to win the league isn't looking good, that is our hardest game of the season <ok>
