Our strikers are still kids learning their trade mate. Trying to build on last season without an experienced striker was a big error. I thought wed have learnt after losing Stewart and Simms last season.
Rusyn isn't a kid though. Hemir was poor today but only one of our shots today came from a striker. We need to at least create some chances for them.
Yeah but 100m in promotion revenue is? Why hang about trying to come up.with a plan? Forest unexpectedly got promoted 2 years ago and are doing a decent job. Even if we do go down we'd be like Leicester are now and Burnley last season and Sheff Utf and be massively stronger as a club. I dont understand fans that say we're not ready so lets stay in the Championship for a while?
I wonder if swapping Roberts and Clarke in situations like today would be worth a go. They’d be more able to fire low balls across the six yard box which we don’t do a lot.
Hes a kid when it comes to adapting to a new league, new country and stronger opposition though. How can we expect him to come in and be our main man? Its not fair on him either to have that pressure.
Well I’m one of them, so if you want to watch four wins in a season you are going to really enjoy your next 38 games. By the way forest have 2 wins, such joy.
Stewart hardly played. Simms I would have had back but lots wouldn't. The striker we have now are a mix of young lads learning or new to the league. We are a constant work in progress, at times brilliant, at times ****e. If people can't see we just battered a team for pretty much the whole game and want to ficus on the negatives then god forbid if and when we get promoted
Aye feels like (some) people are hyper focused on everything he does wrong but have a massive blind spot for everything he does well.
Thought O'Nien played well today outside of the pen and his booking. Was probably the only one looking to move the ball quick.
Im more concerned about the future of our club mate. 100m in revenue spent wisely could see us back where we belong an established Prem team. If not we'll be massively stronger going forward to get promoted again
They need time and patience. I've said it loads of times, there will be massive highs and massive lows, just enjoy it
Disagree. He sort of has too. His comments are there to see. Listen to them. He certainly has very low confidence in our strikers
Im an impatient lad mate and seeing the potential we have and the obvious mistakes from the club is annoying which is why its good to vent frustration on a forum to fellow fans.
Sorry mate I don’t agree, a £100 million wouldn’t even buy us 2/3 premiership players who would probably be on 5 times what our young lads are on. I can really see that working well. We will go up when we are ready to go up under the management we have now, which to me is spot on.
