Mowbray deserves the rest of the season, heh as us playing well, we lack a striker who scores, thats it

I don't disagree that our strikers have shown nothing, but they can't score if they're not given the service either.

1 shot between the pair of them today when Jobe played that lovely ball in for Rusyn. Other than that, there was 24 shots on goal, mostly from the edge of the area straight into a cluster of Swansea players. None of our midfielders found that key pass today. Most of them didn't even look for it.

Mowbray continuing to annoy me with his decisions. Pritchard came on and I thought great he will sit deeper and dictate like he did at QPR, but he came on and he was playing higher than Hemir? Rusyn looked sharp, some good touches and great hold up play so Mowbray takes him off for Hemir who clearly needs time in the u21s, not sure he touched the ball more than 5 times. We had no plan in the second half, our best chances were shots from outside the box. Not good enough.

I can only assume that Rusyn is not anywhere near fitness still and he needed to be brought off. His movement is exactly what we needed for Pritchard to pick that lock.

Hemir is pretty static and traditional and pair that with 2 inverted wingers and it all becomes very 1 dimensional. Not really sure where Dack was meant to be playing.

That's what happens when they have been drilled to death without a proper striker for a long time.

Lack of quality in the final third was the issue. That should be obvious to anyone who watched the game.

We were too slow with our movement and passing. No killer ball and it was easy for Swansea to defend against.

hemir won't score more than 2 goals for sunderland before he's gone absolutely hopeless

Someone on here said he was "already a 15 goal a season Championship striker" in pre-season.

He's not ready, that's for sure. He's actually a talented player with the ball, but he's got a lot of work to put in before he's ready to lead the line for any team in my opinion.

Did we dominate the game?l apart from a goal?

Did we play good football? Did Swansea have their backs to the wall pretty much all game?
We had alot of possession but they had the best chance and our best chance came before the red card. We created very little and had no plan on how to break them down. Very poor in my opinion.

Can't be arsed to argue. With a bit more luck we could have been 3 or 5 nil up in the first half.

Yet to read some posts to would think we had lost

So frustrating but its been happening at home for ages once a team decides to sit deep and defend we havent got a clue how to break them down. We score spectacular goals we score great team goals but we don't get in where it hurts no one attacks the ball and expects to score when it gets scrappy.
Think playing without a striker for so long is coming back to haunt us. At least we keep trying to play football but we desperately need a plan B
