Yes sorry there was a goal ruled out then Swindon got 4 late goals. Still rather a startling scoreline .
Arsenal’s under-18s game with Brighton was postponed today after the team coach travelled to Bournemouth instead of Brighton
Hope someone told Arteta that before the game last night as he wasn’t a happy man ! That was a Fergie /Jose type rant . I actually thought the goal wasn’t the worse decision of the game in terms of going against Arsenal . Newcastle certainly could have been down to 10 men earlier .
I guess most Luton fans went along expecting a bit of a thumping, so very good for them to hold out until the 5th minute of added time before Liverpool equalized.
How fitting it was Diaz who scored after the week he has had Good news story on both sides and VAR not the main talking point .
I must admit that I was hoping that they would hold on, just shows what average players who operate as a team can achieve with the fans 100% behind them
Sadly not surprised to hear this from some Luton fans though- maybe a minority after a few drinks ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67329408
The Athletic's article "Four Tactics teams Don't Use Anymore" Sometimes i think it should be compulsory for every team to use just the one - the old 2-3-5 (which doesn't rate a mention in the article). Watching that was rarely boring - unlike watching games these days. https://archive.ph/2023.11.03-12050...49/2023/11/03/tactics-teams-dont-use-anymore/
Every team seems to have them sadly but I cant recall when Watford fans at home have been called out for stuff that bad, I may be wrong of course
Watching Arsenal vs Sevilla, thirty minutes in Saka has been fouled seven times by my count. No cards yet. The first will doubtless be an Arsenal player for dissent.
