My thoughts are clear, play your own signings where possible, and do not play signings made by long distant predecessors. Casemiro being injured now doesn't help. I don't think Eriksen is fully up to it alongside Amrabat, so I'd prefer it to be a graduate in Mainoo. Or give Mount a run at 8 alongside Amrabat. Sounds like Cas out for a few weeks, so why not? Onana AWB Maguire Varane Reguillon Amarabat Mount/Mainoo Antony Fetnandes Mount/Garnacho Hojlund. **** Lindelof, **** Martial, **** Dalot and, for me, **** Rashford.
I would like to specifically see what Antony can do on the left side of the field and Mount on the right. Mainoo and Amarabat in the middle with Bruno in an advanced position. I doubt that we will ever see that combination though.
If whatever side he picks today doesn't give 110% then it is safe to say he is toast. The stakes are obvious to the squad and there are decisions to be made - play for the manager and get the club moving forward or lose heart and let the manager take the flak.
Good! I do genuinely think today was the day to give Mount a proper run but there we go, let's see what a McShit and Eriksen partnership can do. Fulham good opponents for McTominay. As in, he doesn't have to hide against them. Or shouldn't.
Very little physicality in that side. I think they'll get bullied off the ball. Not keen with that line up tbph. And once again Antony on the right. He's a stubborn sod and that'll be the preverbial death of him!
lol. You probably wanted it disallowed given you called your own player McShyte. Chief, you went to bat for Maguire when he was evidently a donkey. Why do you dislike Tommy so much?
That doesn't say much. Won't be long before he's hiding again and no one will notice he's even there! As I've said before, he's a useful sub and can come on, make a nuisance of himself, and maybe get a goal. From the bench. There is no way on this earth he's good enough to start in our centre of midfield. He hides. I know he cost nothing and for some reason players with fees offend you, but that doesn't mean he should start. He's had ample opportunities to make himself a starter, the McFred era for instance. He never really has. It's bizarre that Ten Hag is now playing him after more or less putting him up for sale. He's making selections that are going to cost him his job. Why pay for Mount and not play him? When Casemiro injured for a while especially. Very strange.
