Can you think of any other reason why he gets so many starts? I think he and Bruce are felching buddies
One moment from yesteday stands out. Second half, we are attacking, Bendy gets the ball, midway in Fulham half, centre of pitch and turns away from defenders facing right corne flag. In that split second you could see what he wanted, play ball right into big empty space behind defender, run into box for cross, head home. Elmo stood on wing, behind Bendy and did not move, ball lost and out of play. I watched Bendy, his shoulders sluped, he looked at Elmo, pointed to the space and you could see him saying, why did you not run there. Those moments are what chase good strikers away, ring any bells.
It wasn't just Bendtner who looked pissed off with everything yesterday syd, Sess is looking worryingly sick as a chip as well and, more importantly the natives are officially restless. For Bruce to turn this around the Cavalry will need to consist of a whole new team yet again.
Towards the end Westwood made anouther great save (was he MOTM) and the players sprinted up elmo stood on his own with loads of space westwood looked at him saw who it was a turned away and passed to someone else it summed up his game Only Tony Cottee and master-simpson seem to think that elmo had a good game
Amy blew Darren Bent! Elmo hasn't quite worked out the best way to depart with full contractual obligations fullfilled, as of today!
This will incluide 6 or 7 very good crosses which were put into the box in the first half - which NONE of our attackers were willing to gamble on - he did cross a decent ball at the weekend but every time he did it there was no-one in the centre BTW - I don't particularly think he was outstanding but he was certainly no worse than Colback
