Tbh, there hasn't even been a reaction from Newcastle really, club or fans as far as I can see. He's been absolutely bang average and his attitude has stunk.
Not sure, mate. It sounds like it’s all done on request. The football association of whichever country applies the ban and then asks FIFA to make it worldwide. I suppose they could request to FIFA to extend the ban or add a period of time on. If he has been at it while at Newcastle, of course.
Ashworth was asked if you would be pursuing Milan over what has happened and he refused to comment, so I think it’s definitely something you’re looking into. He also said Tonali has done something which has breached his contract but he didn’t say what. I wasn’t joking at the time when I was saying he really looks like he was unhappy at moving to Newcastle. I suspect he’ll end up back playing in Italy next year and he’ll probably stay there, too. I reckon he’s a homeboy with nothing to base it on but my gut feeling.
