I can't believe how much it tickles me. Just read that post n the following page or so and it's set me off again
And now I've just remembered the other day when Welshie posted the Wiki article for the water park there and it was 'burned down by masked men' months after it opened
I should do a family tree ancestry thing or something. Think I’m Russian and Polish but I look more like every Turkish barber so **** knows.
Yeah that’s what I’ve just done. It’s really interesting and at times thought provoking. It makes a difference knowing where you’re from. Can’t explain it, it just does. I have a cousin playing in Serie B. If he makes the top league, I may well be tempted to contact him.
Suggested before Abe was anti-Semitic and he was defended on here by a select few Or one See ye in the covid thread abe
Although nothing new, as history is littered with these type of tunnels... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derinkuyu_underground_city I've even been in the ones at Gibraltar.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Siege_Tunnels
PM Rishi Sunak has said that planned protests on Armistice Day would be "provocative and disrespectful". There is a "clear and present" risk war memorials such as the Cenotaph in London could be "desecrated", he added. It comes as a pro-Palestinian march is planned in London on Saturday 11 November. Organisers said they had no plans to be near the Cenotaph and understand the sensitivity of the date. The Met Police said it was planning a "significant" operation and was in contact with organisers, who said they were "willing to avoid the Whitehall area", where the war memorial is located. Pro-Palestinian protests have been held in London, and other cities globally, each Saturday since the Israel-Gaza war began. Mr Sunak said on Friday: "To plan protests on Armistice Day is provocative and disrespectful, and there is a clear and present risk that the Cenotaph and other war memorials could be desecrated, something that would be an affront to the British public and the values we stand for." He has also written a letter to Met Police chief Sir Mark Rowley, saying the force has the government's "full support in making robust use of all your powers to protect Remembrance activity". He added he was "deeply concerned that a number of protests are currently planned to disrupt" acts of remembrance.
No issue with there being a protest but if it disturbs the rememberance stuff it will and should kick off and won’t be pretty. I’m staying in London the night before so might swing by before football.
British Police will do **** all, just try and have a little chat with them as they smash it up. They're ****ing useless. Seen these anti oil ****s in Germany and France? In England theyre politely asked to move to the side
I think our cops are so short in numbers now they have to resort to arresting people after the event, much like they did with the Bristol riots. And how they have arrested a few people after generally peaceful Palestinian marches. I'm guessing the problem with an event on the 11th/12th Nov is it will clash with Remembrance Day and put further strain on police numbers, especially as they will be tied up protecting dignitaries. I would like to think that people aren't stupid enough to cause trouble on Remembrance Sunday, but there will be plenty of cameras to pinpoint those that do for later arrest as well as a very pissed off British public with them. In regards to oil protestors in the UK, those that climbed the Dartford crossing are now spending several years in jail I believe?
Thread is full of pessimists and cynics mate Somebody needs to have some vision on here. Anyway, plenty of Hotels and tourist sites in Gaza. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotels-g663088-Gaza_City_Gaza-Hotels.html Obvs as a Tourist rep for the area I would recommend folk wait a while before booking
'Scores killed and injured' in Israeli airstrike on ambulance convoy in Gaza But wait up folks, it's okay because it was being used by Hamas Amazing how Israeli intelligence can be completely unaware of the Oct 7th attack which must have been months in the planning, but can somehow know that an ambulance was carrying Hamas fighters. Anybody still swallowing this **** ?
