Fair dos, jck is an absolute master......

    At talking bo££ocks.

He can't even spell players' names correctly which, in my opinion so he can't debate it according to him, is an absolute insult to OUR players.

In my opinion jck is an ar$ehole and we would all be better off if he went and joined the Jacks, Wurzels or Leeds boards.

He wouldn't find the same level of tolerance for the ridiculous, non-sensical tripe he spouts, on those boards.

    jck's motto.

Never let the facts get in the way of a sh1te opinion.

Definitely not John Huws but a less intelligent Vetch maybe.

Supcon is a class above the rubbish jck spouts with monotonous regularity.

It's always confusing for me when someone has an opinion about Ninian Opinion's opinion when I'm chopping an onion.
    Fact!

Yes the fact is we started Ralls in the last 2 games instead of Wintle and won 4-0 and 2-0 unless your opinion is different.
I think you said we played the 4 when in fact Collins was out most of the season, NG played out of position and Allsop most games in goals, I hardly think stating the players were here before Bulut was a complete shock to anyone but thanks anyway.

Look this forum is not all about me talk among yourselves might be a good idea especially as we do not agree on much, patting each other on the back is no way to run a forum where everyone has the right to an opinion and no one has the right to be critical just because they do not agree, learn that not everyone will agree with you and accept it.

Are you sure? You seem to be trying to make it exactly that.

If you read through the posts, you'll find we do talk amongst ourselves, and we certainly don't just agree with each other. Far from it.

And you're right, everyone is entitled to an opinion, however off the wall.
And if you can't be critical when you disagree, what's the point of the forum.
I accept disagreement and criticism, but will try and support my opinion with observation or derive it from fact.

You're more than welcome to post your opinion. The more the merrier.
However, be prepared to defend your corner if you make spurious, unjustifiable claims.

Well said Remote in a much more polite way than me. <ok>

I have used this analogy before but it relates so well to jck.

A Mum and Dad were attending their son's army training passing out parade. The soldier's platoon were doing a marching drill on the parade ground where things were not going as they should.

"Look" exclaimed Mum. "Everyone is out of step apart from our Jonny!!!"

    Jonny = jck!!!

Remote is correct. We don't always agree and backslap each other. But when we don't agree we usually do it in a respectful way and try to discuss - not just have an opinion.

For example I don't like rugby. Remote does, stands his ground and makes meaningful comments. I and a couple of others might post something back at him (others support him) but not in an offensive way and respect his right to enjoy the game.

That is just one example that springs to mind. There are many more if you can be bothered to look.

Well you managed to bore the life out of me, no wonder so few post here despite over 20.000 cardiff fans you have very few so can hardly afford to lose me but you only got yourselves to blame. I will leave you with some advice. make any new members posting feel welcome or resign yourselves to this small group of pub crawlers.

jck - every poster has the right to express an opinion on this forum and should equally expect to be challenged about it by others who disagree.

Don't want to lose anyone making valuable contributions to discussions on here, but a lack of acceptance that there are occasions when facts overide opinions no matter how strongly held is obvious. Admitting you're wrong is not a sign of weakness - it's actually quite theraputic and can form a bond between fans - something you failed to achieve.

Some might disagree, but if you want to continue contributing to the forum in a less oppinionated fashion, I for one would welcome your comments - we don't need to agree with you. If you've decided to leave us, I sincerely hope you find whatever you're looking for.

For me, Masky, jck200 is doing okay….says these things, believes in what he says and doesn’t get himself over annoyed when criticised. Keep it up pal! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

Thank you, you at least have not followed the crowd. I certainly find it fine to get a reply but when it is a flood of posts aimed at me personally I fail to see how that is an opinion on what I post. The day anyone lets a post on a forum upset them is beyond me. Nothing bothers me, I am very calm but now I have said where I stand on certain players I have no need to repeat that. Anyway another win tomorrow will or should cheer everyone up.

I cannot be wrong on my opinion and neither can anyone else. To me it would be a waste of time being critical of an opinion When I say Wintle and Siopsis are very poor that is my opinion and that cannot be challenged

Of course it can. That is the basic premise of discussion. I'm happy for anyone to question my posts and I will gladly defend them or admit I'm wrong if others have more informed views. Pity you are so far up your fundamental orifice that you cannot do the same.

Thought it might be worth revisiting the original post and purpose of this thread.
I wonder how much activity is going on behind the scenes. I have to confess that sometimes I can get a bit crazy with all the unfounded speculation of the press and others "in the know".
However, as you correctly pointed out, for the first time in a while we go into a window with the shackle of the umbongo removed. I think also and as remote suggests, it's important that the club looks at those who should be moving out either permanently or in loan.
As far as incoming is concerned the need seems to be for cover unless there is the chance of someone that significantly improves us and can fit in.
I lost track with what's happening with Kieffer Moore. To begin with I thought he might be a bit too one dimensional for us. However, his recent showing for Wales showed great work ethic that would fit with Erol's expectations.
I dare say the jungle drums will increase in volume as we get closer to January.

I agree that your opinion is yours. I've made the same statement myself in the past.
However, be prepared for others to challenge you and your opinion if theirs is different and they can support their argument with data or information.
So, while no one can say your opinion is wrong, you are wrong in saying it can't be challenged. Otherwise, by saying you cant be challenged, you're saying their opinion is wrong. Sort of contradicting your statement that opinions cant be challenged.

I disagree strongly with your view on Siopis. That is MY opinion. By saying Siopis is poor, you are challenging my opinion. which I'm ok with.
The only time I would suggest to you that your opinion is wrong is where it contradicts facts.

If you think Siopsis is a good player I am fine with that and I have no reason to try and detract from your view. For me it is simply about different opinions and nothing to do with scoring points off anyone else. By all means keep praising Siopsis, if you feel that my view that he is clumsy is by anyway affects your opinion I can assure you it does not. If I were to attack your views on Siopsis believe me you would be the first to know it. Time to get back on topic.

Every position in the team should be considered, if an improvement can be made.
We either need to sign improvements for starters, or improvements for back-ups. That's how the overall squad improves. It should be the goal for every transfer window.
    There are priorities though.
I'll stick with LB, CM and a Striker.
    LB, cover as a minimum.
CM, only if we can sign someone who is nailed on to start in front of Ralls and Wintle. It's pointless signing cover. Erol obviously sees something in Wintle or he wouldn't have given him a new contract.
Striker is a must. As I said elsewhere, Meite is a great squad player and will do a job as a 9, but he's a jack of all trades.
Moore would be good, with Etete as cover and Meite extra cover and versatility. (Have I missed any options for the 9 shirt?:emoticon-0114-dull:)

Some interesting words from Bulut regarding Panzo and Runarsson. Both were brought in to be 1st choice.
I do feel aggrieved when you bring in a loan player and they don't get game time. Seems a waste.
Fair play on Jak and the two CBs for making the shirts theirs.

As you say though cling, work should be well under way by now.
