On my electric &gas bill I'm wing commander! I dont even know what a wing commander is, but titles mean absolutely **** all. Harry formerly known as Prince deserves a round of applause
It did nothing for me tbh, but still a shame to see someone go at such an early age. I read that he had serious addiction problems, so complications due to that I suppose. Sad.
Well apparently drowned in a hot tub but feel must be more to it unless he just passed out from the heat or something.
heart attack apparently and no evidence of drugs. got clean but the collective damage eventually told.
Fancy Saudi Arabia getting the world cup in 2034. Just goes to show all you have to do is be homophobic, misogynist, and cut up the odd journalist and it is yours. If you also finance the flying of planes into New York landmarks this will also enhance your chances. The Aussies withdrew as they could never compete against the Saudis form!
if you pay the other country not to enter/have them told to not enter by fifa then it looks just great. they are doing world football a massive favour.
'Razor and I used to do some silly things' - Dicks please log in to view this image Former Liverpool left-back Julian Dicks has been reminiscing about his brief but eventful career at Anfield - and one man in particular featured strongly. Dicks recalled with Chris Kamara and Ben Shephard the antics he and Neil 'Razor' Ruddock got up to on Kammy & Ben's Proper Football Podcast. Dicks was signed by Graeme Souness but returned to West Ham the following autumn after Roy Evans, who had succeeded the Scotsman, told the former defender to train with the youth team. "I got on really well with 'Razor'. We were at Liverpool at the same time, and West Ham," the former defender said. "I remember one time at Melwood, Liverpool’s training ground. We both liked golf and I was getting pushed out at Liverpool, so remember taking my clubs over to the other side of the training ground and hitting golf balls towards the players’ cars. "Razor was doing it too, 4-irons and 5-irons. I hit John Barnes’ car and he had a Mercedes 500SL. "We used to do some silly things." I didn't get on with Evans' - Dicks on his short time at Anfield please log in to view this image Former Liverpool left-back Julian Dicks has opened up on the fallout with ex-manager Roy Evans that led to his exit from Anfield. Dicks was signed by Graeme Souness but soon fell out of favour with his successor Evans and was sold back to West Ham United within 13 months of arriving at Liverpool. "I didn’t get on with Roy Evans," Dicks told Kammy and Ben's Proper Football podcast. "I played the last seven games of the 1993-94 season and everything was fine. "I was going on holiday with my family and saw him in the airport and in the papers a few days before he had been quoted as saying I wasn’t fit enough, so I asked him about it. "He said ‘No, no, you are part of Liverpool. See you in pre-season’. "So I went away, enjoyed my holiday, and came back and played some pre-season games. We played Bolton, I think it was, and got beat 4-1. After the game he hammered Mark Wright but said nothing to me, but the next day he was in the papers saying I am overweight. "I came into training and the next day he told me to train with the kids; I got in my car and went home. I did that for about a month. Every day he was waiting for me! "I played against Everton for the reserves and TC [Tony Cottee] said he was going back to West Ham next week, which angered me that they wanted him before me! "But a couple of weeks later Jamie [Redknapp] came up to me and said, ‘My dad wants you back at West Ham’. I said, 'Tell your dad I’d walk there'. It seemed to take forever to go through - I was just waiting to go." Famously tenacious, Dicks also did get in an early response to anyone who criticised his disciplinary record. "I'll just say, I only got booked once in 28 games for Liverpool," he added - and he also has the honour of being the last player to score in front of the standing Kop at Anfield (pictured above).
he was a fat useless lump though people can say what they like about themsevles but others can correct them. as I recall he did **** all for the rest of his far career. BTW. sourness the arch discipli arian bought that. that is why he was fired and it took at least 12months too long to do so.
On that last point, with Dicks and Ruddock in the team, I believe we came top of the fair play league that season.
probably because both of them were so fat they never managed to get close enough to oppo players to actually kick them
remember thst 3-3 v utd. we were 0-3 down weren't we? as I recall these two slobs played and watching the utd athletes run rings around them was telling. however somehow the rain came down amd anfield got going so the lesson wasn't learned . that was some result with ruddock scoring 2 header from corners after waddling up. utd won everything into he 1990s due to being fitter and faster imo
Ruddock only waddled to one goal . the first 2 were Clough and tbh are pretty much all i remember about his time with us .
you are probably right. one for outside the box. I think he was sent on and changed the game bit could be wrong.
