Huddersfield v Watford Go back to the 2nd of January and Watford won on the road against Norwich. Then a run of 14 winless games on the road followed, that included 6 draws. Then this happened: ¡¡What a winning thunderbolt!! Now, Watford, off the back of a late home equaliser to Millwall, are unbeaten in four. Huddersfield have lost their last 2, shipping 4 in each game and netting 1. Surely, we can't win back-to-back on the road, can we? VI's Watford aim to take their unbeaten run to 5, as they have slowly plodded up the table in recent weeks. Huddersfield need to stop the rot that seems to have set in defensively. Team News to Follow. ¡¡COYH!!
I see that two of us have put up a thread for this game, so to avoid confusion I will add to this one, and remove the other one.
Our last trip to the John Smith Stadium in December 22 seems an age away, with Mark Fotheringham and Slaven Bilic as the head coaches to the two sides. Today Huddersfield have Darren Moore as head coach, after he left Sheffield Wednesday by mutual consent, despite guiding that club to the Championship via the play-offs. He is struggling a bit with some heavy defeats recently, with both Huddersfield and Norwich leading the goals conceded at 27 each. Team News Influential Huddersfield midfielder Jack Rudoni faces a few weeks on the sidelines after injuring a foot in the 4-0 loss at home to Cardiff. Josh Koroma (groin) could return but Jonathan Hogg serves a one-match ban and injured trio Josh Ruffels, David Kasumu and Danny Ward remain out of contention. Watford right-back Ryan Andrews is available after completing a four-match suspension. Centre-back Wesley Hoedt is one booking away from triggering a one-match ban. Our Officials The most senior referee of British South Asian heritage in the country is set to officiate in his first game in the Championship. please log in to view this image Sunny Singh Gill has been appointed as the man in the middle.Paul Hodskinson and Alex James will assist him. David Webb will be the fourth official.
F1Hornet Good to see a South Asian referee stepping up and more Asian involvement in high level football. Let's hope he has a good game and inspires some more to get involved. To be honest, I have the upmost of respect for all referees at all levels, because I would hate to do that job!
My fault Mex. I started it, and didn't finish it until the evening. I didn't check to see if you had been doing one before posting mine.
Interesting article by Dean Whitehead in the Observer, two of his comments show everything that was wrong last season There were a lot of injuries last year hamstring and backbone (lack of) When I came here with Cardiff last year Watford took the lead with a very good goal but when we equalised they just threw in the towel and allowed us to win three one
If it makes it easier maybe we could rotate? My workload has stabilized a bit now. But I like your match threads more! haahahahahahahha
Afternoon all on this blustery afternoon. Looking for a stream that works. Enjoy the game it is one we should win.
Won't be with you for most of this..local meeting about wind turbines planned in our local woods..500 metres away..
I want to say thanks But, I don't really speak much in English these days, so it feels better saying siempre estoy agradecido. te lo adredezco.
